Danny's Demon: A Danny Gonzalez Story

CHAPTER 3.

The morning after the first sacrifice Danny prepared a carefully structured video in which he would "jokingly" suggest his desire to be a sleep paralysis demon. Once live, millions of people viewed it, some actually attempting to summon "Demon Danny" out of curiosity or as a joke. Danny spent the day glowing at the fruition of his plan finally coming and hundreds or maybe thousands of Gregs soon to be tormented by his demon. It was bonded to him, he shared its power and could even taste the torment of its victims. It was an ungodly experience.

At first, Danny and his servants observed only a few occurrences of summoning.

"My friends and I summoned Demon Danny as a joke and it actually worked. He's been tormenting us all for weeks we've barely slept out of fear of his arrival, it's getting worse every day. I don't understand what's happening! We can't all be crazy, can we? Whatever you do, don't summon Danny!" One user wrote.

"Demon Danny is real! This isn't a joke! After Danny's video, I summoned it and it actually appeared. I can't escape it, I've driven a hundred miles from my home and it still comes every night. This is hell! Why won't God help me?" Wrote another.

A snow-balling effect quickly ensued, a viral trend forming around summoning the Demon Danny. Hundreds became thousands, and thousands became millions. People everywhere participated in the trend and summoned Danny's demon. After just two-weeks all of the remaining sacrifices had been completed. And from there Danny and his demon's power only grew. Countless videos of exhausted and terrified people sharing their experiences with the demon. Recordings of disembodied voices, objects moving on their own, and glimpses of the demon at the corner of the frames of pictures and videos were piling up. Forums and groups appeared everywhere on how to rid yourself of the Demon Danny all of which were ineffective. The Vatican and other religious organizations received the most significant increase in requested exorcisms in history. Soon governments also began to realize something truly unnatural was occurring as their own children fell prey to the trend.

Danny sat in his darkened basement gazed into the void as he felt his power growing greater every second that passed. His wife, disturbed at her husband sitting in their dark basement perfectly motionless for weeks and realizing it wasn't a joke, decided she should stay with a friend. Suddenly Danny heard a loud bang and shouting as special forces soldiers broke down his door. He could hear the anger in their voices, many of them parents of children who had summoned the demon. They were ordered to arrest Danny, but they all blamed Danny for their children's suffering and secretly desired to end him.

Upon reaching his basement the soldiers surrounded Danny.

"Danny Gonzalez! We have a warrant for your arrest. Put your hands in the air!" A soldier yelled in a rage.

A smile slowly spread across Danny's face.

"Hands in the air?" Danny asked.

Suddenly the hands of every soldier ripped off their bodies and began to float. Danny then stood up and obliterated his house with only a thought, his demonic power radiating from within his mind.

He then directed his demonic forces to destroy the Earth. The armies of every nation united against Danny but were quickly snuffed out. Within days the infrastructure of humanity had been destroyed, and fires spread everywhere, covering the world in dark clouds. The world had become barren, a hellscape that Danny could rule with an iron fist. Nearly all of humanity was wiped out with the few survivors either submitting to Danny as servants or being possessed by his demon. Some were tasked with forever creating the kind of content Danny had used to, with only those who managed to amuse him allowed to live. Others were forced to labor away at a La Croix factory Danny left untouched. No matter what task they were given they all lived surrounded by horrors and misery, and they all wished for a savior.
