Beginners luck (Bennet x reader)

Ch2.5/3

I couldn't sleep that past couple nights, i couldn't tell if I was excited to go to Monstadt or nervous that I was going by myself.

"Wake up sleepy head or your not going to make it to the bot!" Collie said banging on my door.

We had to leave early because it was going to take quite some time before we reach Port Ormos. " I'm coming" I said trying to keep my eyes open.
"Your lucky you get to take a bot both me Cyno and Master Tighnair walked there and back." Collie said.

I grabbed my suit case and open the door to see both Master Tighnair and Collei ready to greet my at my door. " All set?" Tighnair ask. I nodded my head. " oh don't forget your pass," Collei said pointing at the bot pass I left on the table. " Oh right," I grab my pass and shut the door behind me

"Alright let's go"

We left before the sun came out because we had to make sure we would get there in time. The whole time we were heading there Collei was chatting my ear off about all the different things I should know about Monstadt.

"Oh by the way," Master Tighnair said looking back at me and Collei. " Albedo is the chief alchemist of the Knights of Favonius. He normally works in Dragonspine but because it's your first time he offered to meet you at there headquarters."

"It's Dragonspine that super big mountain between Monstadt and Lyiue?"

"Yep" Collie answered. " There's no need to worry I don't think you will need to go up there with him as much." Tighnair said turning around and continuing to walk ahead.

Collei continued to tell me more about Monstadt. At this point I thought I have learned enough about Monstadt I could have pretended that I live there my whole life.

I was only half listening because if I had listened fully my brain would have started to overload.

But one thing that did catch was that she wanted me to give a message to Amber. Now I have heard Collei talk about amber countless of time but I only seen her in photos.

I know that Collei really dose idolize her sort of in the way I idolize master Tighnari. " Can you give this to her?" Collei said, handing me a small envelope with Amber's name on it.

I looked at the envelope and put it in my pouch, then looked over at Collie " I'll make sure to keep this safe." I said, smiling back at her.

By now I could Port Ormos in the distance and I started to get a little nervous, I couldn't tell if it was a happy nervous or a scared nervous.

"There's nothing to be afraid of" Collei said giving me a light pat on the back. I think she could tell that I was nervous.

By now we had reached Port Ormos and that little nervousness inside me start to give me anxiety.

I have never been on a big bot like this sure I been on a bot when I was young but this, this was way different.

" Wow, look it how big this bot is" Collei said as she look up at the big ship. " This trip will only be a few hours on bot but you will have to stay somewhere over night when you get to Lyiue." Tighnair said.

I looked over at him to see that he was also looking at the ship but then he look back at me. " the you will be staying is Wangshu inn, it's a couple hours away from Monstadt."

"Thank you Master Tighnair, I will make sure that your special flower gets home soon, and Cyno TCG card."

He chuckled a bit and turned to look at the boat. "I'm sure the flower is in safe hands with you."

"Setting sail in five minutes please can we have all parties on bored." A man announced from the loading dock. I sighed "looks like that's my cue."

I started to head down to the load deck "Y/N wait!!" Collei yelled chasing after me. I turn around to see her spring into my arms and give me a big hug.

" Make sure you write to me so that way we can keep in touch ok?" I gave her a big hug back. " I will"

"All aboard!" A man on the ship shouted. I wave to Collei and Tighnair as I got on the boat and it started to set sail.

I waved at both Collei and Master Tighnair as as the ship set sail. It still felt unreal that I was leaving Sumeru for the first time. I had felt both anxious and excited to see what was to come next.

Yay!! We're off to Monstadt!!! I have a couple key things I want to discuss first 1. I had kept changing between Tighnair and Master Tighnair because it just fit better. 2. I know I said this chapter is more like a 2.5 the a chapter 3 but I have already started work on other chapters and didn't want to change it . -Linuxs

P.S this will be a very short chapter and just most internal discussion.
