"Hey!" Huh.. "WAKE THE THE FUCK UP!" Oh.
Seungmin slowly opened his eyes. His vision was somewhat blurry but it became even blurrier when a dumbass decided to throw water on his face. The fact he started to cough like he was choking on his lungs was not making things better. He thought of how he probably looked like a fish that accidentally jumped onto the shore and is desperately trying to get back to the water. He was about to die and go to the heavens, until a hand touched his chest and soothed the coughing. He slowly opened his eyes when he realized the blurriness went away. He saw the ethereal face above him, and God, was he seeing an Angel?
"Are you alright?" The beauty spoke, but Seungmin realized something. His slightly blue skin and the weird spiked things around his face and the blue.. skin? Mainly around his neck. As Seungmin started to go down from his neck he soon realized how the color went from a dark blue color to a light blue. He soon followed the beauty's arm and slowly went down and down and saw his hand. Were those claws? He asked himself before realizing THEY sure as hell were claws. And they were on his chest.
"AHHH!" Seungmin screeched. The gorgeous creature backed away in surprise, he must've figured out why he was so surprised because his claws immediately went away. "You're not going to hurt me, right?" Seungmin asked, clearly panicked. "Why do you think so, human? When I put my hand on my your chest I did-" nothing else came out of his mouth. Seungmin was somewhat confused but he got the point. When he put his hand on his chest it made it stop hurting. He was confused about what he was anyway, that was until he finally looked down. There was a mermaid tail. Didn't those things only exist in novels and movies? Or maybe he was just a mentally insane cosplayer but that wouldn't explain how he put away his claws. So many thoughts were popping up in his heads he didn't notice when the blue glaucus got close to him, When he felt a hand touch his knee he jumped. "Well, I'm not here to harm you. I actually got stuck here too, and I'm curious, what's your name human?" The mermaid questioned. Seungmin sighed, "My name.. my name is Seungmin," the mermaid stared at him. "Well, my name is Jeongin," he said gently. His voice was comforting, Seungmin had to say. But there was just one more thing he had to ask before he made sure himself.
...
"What are you?" Seungmin tone was demanding, which meant the guy probably knew how much he wanted to know what he actually was. Jeongin looked startled at the question but his mouth opened to speak anyway. "Um.. well I'm a blue glaucus," Jeongin looked puzzled to say this and Seungmin wondered why, until he realized that in one of his classes he learned how those animals were poisonous to the touch, but then how was he not dead yet? Seungmin looked at his chest and then glared at his eyes. "Oh! You're probably wondering why you aren't dead yet, well it's because when we're on ______ and then we get _____" Jeongin innocently said. Well, it does take a genius to find out what he said, Seungmin thought.
—
"So.. how did you get stuck here?"
"Ah.. that's a long story I'll tell later."
"Really?"
"Positive, human."
"My name is Seungmin."
"Ah right.."

After the awkward long silence Seungmin decided to speak up, "If you're a sea creature why can't you get out?" Seungmin asked with curiosity. Jeongin looked down and started to talk after a few seconds, looking at Seungmin like he was dumb "Well.. the rocks on the exit." Oh so now it isn't the opening? He looked back at the exit, straining his eyes to see it and saw the spiky rocks that could certainly go through your foot if you weren't careful enough. "And if I try to get out with those rocks there, my tail with definitely get stabbed, and I can't risk that. I'd transform back to the form were I have human legs but it seems I can't in such lighting," Ah. Seungmin thought of an idea but it'd probably cost him more than 100 dollars which he didn't want to spend- "Oh.. I'm not sure why I'm telling this to you. I should never trust humans, after all" Seungmin just looked at him "If my school finds out I was with you and told you all these things, they would kill you," Oh well that wasn't fun, Seungmin thought. "So when you hear-" Jeongin was about to speak furthermore when Seungmin interrupted him "Do you think I can use you for an assignment that's due for one of my classes? It won't reveal anything about you, they'll think it's just a made up character," Seungmin himself really didn't know himself why he said it, but the assignment was due. "Are you sure Seungmin? There are some humans that may figure out it's one of my kind," Seungmin didn't dwell on it. "I'm sure" Seungmin quickly replied. "I'm going to trust you for now human, but if you betray me, I promise that you will be dealt with," Jeongin looked serious. That's all Seungmin really had to say. He was scary but he was sweet at the same time.Jeongin later spaced out, leaving Seungmin alone with his own thoughts. He wondered if he could really keep this a secret. He almost laughed, well nobody would want to be killed by some humanoid sea animals. He was biting his lip hard enough for it to bleed. The whole situation seems funny really, never would've guessed creatures like Jeongin really exist. Jeongin gasped suddenly which caught Seungmin's attention. "Wait Seungmin could you carry me to the exit real quick?" Seungmin deadpanned. "Are you serious? My feet have gone through enough," and to be real, they were starting to get sore. And his shivering was getting worse because of his wet clothes. "Oh no, you got it wrong. Seungmin you don't have to go that far to the exit, just bring me where there's more available light," Jeongin corrected. Oh.. well that didn't really seem like a problem. Seungmin stood up and walked towards Jeongin, he definitely noticed when Jeongin flinched a little, but he decided to not point it out. He picked Jeongin up and headed towards the light of the exit, looking out for rocks that would go through his feet, but he wasn't that worried. Jeongin said if they got injured in any way he would just heal them. When they finally got to the right amount of light, Jeongin looked out and let a little "thank you" which Seungmin found cute. That's was when an orange aura was being somehow lifted off of Jeongin, it was the strongest on his tail. Since Seungmin was carrying Jeongin, the orange aura was blinding him from how bright it was.
"God how bright is this?" Seungmin was now actually being blinded. "Just look away from it, you don't want to go blind, do you?" Seungmin immediately looked away. It felt like a whole minute had passed when he felt the slimy feeling of Jeongin's tail turned into the feeling of human skin. "Okay now put me down," Jeongin said. Seungmin obeyed, not wanting to open his eyes since he didn't feel any clothes around his skin. That's was when he felt strong arms lift him up, Seungmin did definitely not expect that. He opened his eyes to see the bright blue sky. Hold on, the bright blue sky? Seungmin soon realized, that he was in-fact in the air. His eyes widened and that was when he felt a vibration against him, Jeongin giggled. He felt himself blush, it was over pure happiness that Jeongin and him were finally free.
After that, he had to say his goodbyes to the boy. Jeongin said that they would surely meet again. He sighed, would they really? He hoped for the best to see him. For now, he could only hope. He crouched down and took a book to read for the rest of the day, maybe that would calm down his racing thoughts. He splat himself on his bed and started reading.
