I Hear No Lies

"Why the hell do I even have to do this?"

Cara has been pacing around their apartment for about half an hour, clearly not happy about the news Kendall had just presented to her.

"Oh come on it can't be that bad. I'm pretty sure it's just a threat"

"But what if it's not? A lie detector. Really? She'll know things your girlfriends mom shouldn't know!"

Cara is nervous as hell. Kendall's mom, Kris, had just invited the couple to their house, and mentioned something about trying out a lie detector on Cara to see if she was good for her daughter. Kendall had tried to bail out, but her mother never took 'no' for an answer.

"Stop overreacting. Let's go. It's not even going to be true."

Oh boy was Kendall wrong. They had arrived at the Kardashian house about 2 minutes ago, and Cara was already strapped onto the lie detector. The expression on her face would be funny, being a mix of constipated and scared, under any other circumstances, but this is the real deal. Kris was sitting just in front of Cara, giving her a menacing stare.

"Shall we begin"

Kris's voice at that moment could probably make anyone shit their pants, and Cara thought that in that moment she might as well have.

"Are you a virgin?"

"Yes"

"Lie"

"Shit"

Cara didn't like this. She didn't like it one bit.

"Do you enjoy drugs"

"No. Definitely not"

"True"

"Have you ever done a sex tape"

"..."

"..."

"No"

"True"

"Have you done it with Kendall?"

"..."

The questions are getting real personal. This is probably the 10th question she had been asked about her sex life, and so far, the results are accurate.

"Have you"

"Yes ma'am"

"... true"

"Final question. Do you love my daughter?"

This is the decision maker. Cara was confident in her answer, but couldn't stop making up horrible scenarios in her head. She could lose Kendall, and she couldn't do that. She just couldn't.

"More than anything"

"..."

Kris hadn't said anything, and Cara was sweating and holding onto her chair as if it could swallow her as a whole if something went wrong.

'What if it was a lie? It couldn't be. She loved Kendall more than anything. But why isn't she talking? Am I wrong? could I be wrong?'
