a living ghost holding on to the last thoughts of life ╱ the remains of a person she once was. she was the air she breathed and the shadow she saw when she walked down the streets.
she existed, holding on to the events of the past that she wanted to forget. it ate her up and made her hungry for revenge at the same time

but few were as dark as the cabrera family. sadie and nasko cabrera, the parents of shiloh and her nine siblings. each one carried a burden.
it all began in méxico, their parents' past haunted the children from birth ⎯⎯ but as they all grew older, they were dragged into it themselves.
after a few years, the family moved to texas, an old isolated family house/-farm. the perfect place for a new start... without a good ending.
years and years passed, and the family slowly dwindled one by one. in just four years, sancha lost three siblings. a few years later, she lost them all in one night. and in that night, she went with them.
RUDOLF Look, Catherine, a shooting star! Did you wish?
CATHERINE I didn't have time.
RUDOLF Then there is something you wish for.
CATHERINE ... Yes.
RUDOLF What did you wish?
CATHERINE I was wishing ...we were two other people. Two people who need not say goodbye.
