Days blurred and merged and it was nearing the ball .
Ron still hadn't found a date for the ball and Hermione was going with someone .... Viktor krum . .
Cassiopeia knew because she saw Viktor asking her in the library when she was reading .
She smiled at the thought of the ball . She was nervous .
She had bought a beautiful green dress

She put on some diamond earrings and the girls helped . In the end she looked astonishing ... Like a queen
Finally it was time
Everyone stood in the room out of the great hall .
Draco stood at the bottom step and gasped as Cassiopeia walked down .
"Merlin you look amazing , astèri " commented Draco making her face red as a warm tingly feeling spread across her body
She smiled and he held out his hand . She obliged and took his hand . They linked arms and stood behind Viktor and Hermione .
Behind them were Fleur and Roger Davis and Cedric and Cho .
The four champions and their dates stood in a line and the doors opened .
The music started playing and the duo's started dancing .
Imagine people's shock when they saw DRACO FRIKIN MALFOY and HARRIET FRICKIN POTTER , dancing !?
After a while they took a brake and sat down near the fountain .
" That was fun " commented Cassi as Draco snorted .
"Anyways , father said I will go through my creature inheritance this birthday because ... My mate apparently already went through theirs " said Draco
"Cool" replied Cassi not knowing what to reply .
Then came the party poopers - Ron and Hermione
" Hermione you went with Viktor ! And you Harriet , you went with -"
"Got a problem Wesley " said Viktor in a warning tone along with Draco who glared at Ron .
The two stood protectivly in front of their dates and glared .
" I-i 'm j-just gonn g-go " said Ron as he rushed out
Immediately Cass was brought into a hug by Draco . Hermione slightly grimanced .
She turned to Viktor and he led her to the dance floor . Draco followed and the two danced for the remainder of the ball .

Students started returning home and Draco was pacing around his room . Blaise had an amused look .
" I don't know what to do Blaise ! I'm positive she's my mate but I don't know if she y'know ...."
"Hey hey .. DRACO calm down , she indefinitely will return feeling plus mates work two ways okay ?" Soothed Blaise
"I don't know Blaise .... Really"
"Hey it's alright "

They went on the return journey home .
Draco's anxiety was growing as the next day was his brithday ... I.e the day he would get his inheritance.

The next day everyone wished Draco a happy birthday . The day was fun and at 11 the party ended .
Draco paced anxiously and for an hour he was surrounded by family .
I was nearing 12 and everyone who went through their inheritance let their creature out .
The clock chimed 12 and Draco felt intense pain . He was writhing on the ground and turning in pain .
After five minutes he stood up. His hair was perfect white . His eyes glowed ice blue . His skin glowed as wings frew out of his back .

Everyone gasped and Draco turned to his parents then turned to Cassiopeia.
Their gazes met and the two stares into each other's eyes . After a few seconds they both opened their mouths and spoke
"Mate"
Narcissa and Bellatrix squealed and Lucius and Tom smiled. The two embraced and blushed .
The parents decided to leave them and the two sat on the sofa .
" I- w-we-r-re mates ......" Said Draco blushing
" Y-yea ... So what should we do?"
"I d-dont know ... I honestly do like you " blurted out Draco
He gasped and clasped a hand over his mouth . His heart was beating fast .
" I-i'v-ve liked you ....... Too " Cassiopeia muttered
Their eyes met and the two leaned in and their lips met .
They stayed like that for a while and then parted .
The two refused to look into each other's eyes . Draco lifted his hand and brought her gaze to him . The two smiled softly and embraced .
Cassiopeia snuggled beside Draco and he placed a protective hand on her shoulder and smiled as she fell asleep . In a few minutes he too fell asleep.
After about 10 minutes the parents returned and silently coed and awe'd at the sight . Narcissa silently took a photo along with Bellatrix .
