I woke up alone this time I figured both girls went to grab the Poe Cup we'd won that was till I looked at my calendar apparently it was some dumb pilgrim day we had to help out Jericho with pilgrim world I'm not entirely sure why but I didn't really care instead I got up and ran myself a shower washing my hair mainly as who knows what task I'll assigned to do hopefully nothing to hard

Time skip getting job

"All students will report for their volunteer jobs at 10 am sharp, followed by community lunch at 1, As you know, this year outreach Day culminates in a very special event, the dedication of a new memorial
statue in the town square, which will also include performances by Nevermore students.
As representatives of our school, I trust you will all put your best face forward" Principal Weems explained to everyone what we would be doing today

In all honesty I wasn't paying much attention as I was just staring at my two amazing girlfriends that was until I got handed the paper that said what I would be doing

"Just great I got that stupid pilgrim fudge place" Enid huffs out

"That's bad? I have to work in Weathervane with Xavier of all people" i scoff out, Which earns a low growl from Enid and a deadly glare to Xavier's head from Wednesday

"Yeah no that's worse, if he tries anything I'll kill him or get Wednesday to do it" Enid says with a small laugh

"Indeed I'll kill him myself" Wednesday states

"I'll be all good guys" I say with a smile, Enid comes up and hugs me whilst Wednesday stays back

"Enid let's swap, you wanted to tell Ajax about us all dating so being in that little shop should be the easiest place" Wednesday say's causally

"Omg! Wednesday your right, thank you thank you" Enid says happily I smile at this girls energy, I look past her to see Weems has started walking over she began speaking to Wednesday but instead of listening I just ignored it, I kept thinking about why today felt different then usual that was until I remember that it was my birthday now sure you could be wondering what's so special about a simple birthday? Yeah well many many manyyy years ago an ancestor of mine at around my age started dating this one girl I don't know her name as we never speak of her but let's just say that she wasn't the best type of person see she caused a curse over our family after my ancestor cheated on her and any children to come that once they hit the age of 16 if they ever stumble upon the "forever mate" they'd be branded with a specific mark to bond and show everyone that they were soulmates and soul bonded for life sounds dumb and not so curse like doesn't it? But here's the catch if your with someone who isn't your soulmate and then you find said soulmate the original person your with has bad luck forever and by bad luck it mainly meant death see my ancestor cheated right? With another women that women wasn't his soulmate the other girl was so in turn the side women perished a natural death so it wasn't blamed on anyone and that's why I'm nervous about today because what if Enid and Wednesday aren't my soulmates then they'll perish for life, I shake the thought out of my head before I speak

"Uh guys-" I don't get to finish my sentence before I'm being pushed towards the buss by a swarm of students, I guess they'll find out when the mark shows at 12.45pm yes specific I know but it's when I was born the exact time sooo that's when the mark happens

Time skip 12.40pm (I'm not the writing the time before it I'm lazy)

I kept checking the time and when I saw it was five minutes before the mark would show I was stressing I just hoped to god it would be my girlfriends or I'd never forgive myself for giving them bad luck like that, It was hitting 12.44pm so I went into Weathervanes closet that thankfully no one saw me head into I checked the time and it hit 12.45pm that's when I felt the burning sensation on my right hand I winced in pain until it was over the mark was basically my 'soulmate's' initials engraved on my hand I looked at them both smiling knowing it showed an E and a W, I smiled to myself knowing exactly who's initials they were I kept smiling till my phone started spamming
