The trio entered the city of Wale on their wagon. Violet's golden yellow eyes were sparkling in each and every direction at the new sights. She seemed to be a little nervous as well though there was excitement coming from her as well.

"You seem nervous." Apollyon suddenly spoke up, causing Violet to jump slightly, turning to the man who saved her not too long ago. "Is this the first time you've been in a big city like this?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. The little girl took a minute, bringing her hand up to her chin before frowning and shrugging. "You don't know? Strange. Usually, people would know if they have been in a place like this or not." Apollyon frowned.

Violet looked down, bringing her knees to her chest. The fact she didn't have any memory of if she had been in a city as big as Wale made Apollyon curious, he found it odd though he didn't want to start interrogating the girl over something like that. "What do you think of the city so far?" Mr Wakefield, who was driving the carriage up in the front, asked as they rode into the city. "Pretty cool, right? I've been here a few times, it's one of the best cities you'll find in these part's"

"As long as the city can provide me with some way of making some coin, I don't care what it's like," Apollyon grumbled, crossing his arms and leaning his back on the carriage. "Yikes, at least you're honest." Mr Wakefield laughed as he continued to ride within the city. "I'll get us to the city centre, there should be a board there that'll be able to assist you in your endeavours."

-

"This is our stop!" Mr Wakefield chuckled as he pulled the carriage to a stop. Apollyon jumped off of the wagon before helping Violet get off (She was tiny), before turning to look around the city center. The center was crowded, so many humans were around doing different jobs, going to work, shopping, and many other daily activities. Violet let out a yelp once she spotted all the people, the number of crowds scared her. The white-haired girl grabbed onto the side of Apollyon's leg as she looked around, tears forming in her eyes.

"Huh?" Apollyon blinked when he felt the grip on his leg, "Oh. You don't like the crowds, do you?" He added as he looked at the girl. The tiny child looked around nervously before she nodded in response to his words. "Not many people like crowds? I didn't like them when I was younger. Come on... Grab my hand." The purple-haired male held out his hand for Violet to take.

Suddenly, Violet jumped back when Apollyon held his hand out. She held her hands up to her face, covering her head and beginning to shake. Mr Wakefield brought a hand up to the bottom of his chin and tilted his head, "It seems she's scared?" He pointed out. Okay, Mr Obvious. Apollyon thought to himself, rolling his eyes and crouching down. "Hey... Violet? I'm sorry, I need to be careful not to make sudden movements around you. I know you've been through a lot, especially with humans and people. I won't hurt you, okay? There's no need to be scared."

Violet looked up from her hands, taking a minute before nodding quietly in response before she gently took his hand. "Okay." Apollyon sighed, standing up and turning to Wakefield. "We'll get going, you going to set up shop?" He asked. The plump man chuckled before nodding. "Yep! I'll be setting up my tent a couple of blocks down the road! Hope to see you there, Mr Zalvedir." He laughed. "Yeah, sure." Apollyon nodded in response. With that, Wakefield waved before he began riding his carriage down the street toward where his next stop would be.

"Alright, we should get moving too. You going to be alright?" Apollyon looked down at Violet gently, who nodded simply, before the pair began to walk hand in hand.

-

Everywhere the duo walked, humans kept giving them both dirty looks. Of course, they did, neither one of them had the sort of appearance you'd expect from humans so of course they were getting dirty looks from everyone. Violet kept gripping onto Apollyon's hand, she was nervous with all the people constantly looking at the two of them so she was really struggling.

"Hey, you don't have to worry about those assholes," Apollyon spoke up, looking at Violet and then around at some people who were glaring at them. He proceeded to give these people a somewhat death stare which sent fear down their spines before looking forward. "Let's just focus on walking, we'll find an activity board soon. That should help us when it comes to trying to make some money." He added on.

Actually, not long after Apollyon had said that the pair made it to where the activity board was. The board was covered in different letters of quests and jobs that needed to be done. The quest pages had the mission and the reward on them, a lot of them seemed high value which interested the purple-haired man a lot. "These could be very useful to us. These can help us get some money." Apollyon nodded, looking around at all the posters before looking at Violet. "What do you think Vi-"

When Apollyon turned to Violet, she was standing completely rigid right next to a stranger who Apollyon hadn't even seen before. This stranger was different, he was a man with silver-like hair with bits of bits of black going through it. He had a black and white outfit on with white gloves. He had a unique-looking katana that had moon-like designs on it. One of his most notable features was that he had a black blindfold on his face. "Hmm?" The stranger turned calmly to Violet, looking down at the young girl.

"Violet-" Apollyon spoke, turning to the girl and quickly pulling her away from the stranger. He had his eyes narrowed on the newcomer, he didn't know who he was but something about him emanated energy he hadn't seen before. "Forgive her for staring, she gets nervous around other people." He spoke up. The stranger shrugged and turned to Apollyon. "There's no need to apologize. She's just a child so there's no problem."

Apollyon blinked in confusion. This man was blindfolded, how was he able to tell that Violet was only just a child. He didn't know why but something felt off about this newcomer. He took a moment before speaking up in a curious tone. "Forgive me if I sound rude but how do you know if she's a child when you can't see-" Apollyon was about to finish but he was cut off by the newcomer. "My ability to see is not of your concern, Stranger. I would also advise against asking personal questions to people you don't know." The stranger replied before he suddenly turned and began walking away.

"And I would advise that you don't give attitude to someone who was just asking a question," Apollyon replied, glaring at the stranger. For a minute, it felt as if the entire world around them was frozen. The energy coming from this stranger and Apollyon was different than anyone had ever seen before. Anyone who was able to sense magic would be able to tell that these two were on a whole other level than each other.

The stranger turned and kept a blank expression on his face, showing no sign of intimidation. "What is your name stranger?" The silver-haired samurai asked, tilting his head. "Apollyon Zalvedir. Yours?" Apollyon replied.

"Koa Aiken." The samurai, Koa Aiken, answered.
