His "maybe" was all I could've asked for... And I was glad he felt the same. It's nice to know I haven't lost him as a friend. 

But... I didn't want him as a friend anymore, if I was being honest. 

I wanted him as more than a friend... 

"Ink, you're jittery."

"Kinda. I just talked to Error and it was a friendly conversation for once."

"Oh, that must've been awesome."

"Yeah."

Dream stared into nothingness for a minute. I tapped his shoulder to snap him out of it.

"I... Zoned out. Sorry, Ink. You didn't say anything, did you?"

I shook my head. 

"Oh, okay. Well, what did you guys talk about?" 

"Well, we just talked about how we hung out as kids. And we're gonna start using the nicknames we made up again!"

"Aw! That's so cute! I'm really happy for you, Ink. My brother doesn't have any nicknames for me. He just calls me Dream. Once in a while, he'll call me brother. But not often."

"What's it like talking to Nightmare? Obviously it's different for you."

Dream snorted. "Well, you'll never be able to tell when he'll say something unprofessional. He's funny."

"Well... I guess I'll see what Error's like..."

I was curious... 

How much has he changed over the years? He's still as mean as I remember him, except stronger. He's still passionate toward things he loves.
