Gale drives as she tries to type a number into her phone, she finally gets it and it goes to voicemail, "What the hell Kirby! You were supposed to be babysitting!"

"Mom? Maybe I can go to Wes' house tonight?" Gracie says

"No, you know how I feel about his mom. You can just stay with me tonight. Just promise me you'll stay in the car" Gale says

"Of course Mom, I promise" Gracie says as Gale turns down a winding road.

As she reaches the end, big red and white lights fill the sky and the letters, "S.T.A.B.A.T.H.O.N." are displayed in mismatched signs.

"Where are we?" Gracie says looking at all the teens with their red solo cups.

"Just a little pit stop before ice cream." Gale lies as she parks the car, "I'll be back soon, ok. Remember what I said?"

Gracie nods her head and says, "Stay in the car and we can get ice cream"

"That's right my sweet girl" Gale says before she leaves her daughter behind and enters Stab-a-thon.

🔪🔪🔪

Gracie starts hearing yelling and screams from inside. She looks around the car and decides to lock it.

Bright highbeams came from behind and a shadowed figure accompanied it. As he got closer, Gracie realized it was coming for her, she jumped in the back seat trying to make herself small. But it was useless when she heard the car unlock. She looked up and saw the figure with their hand on the door. She slid to the other side of the car and the door was opened. The indoor car lights turned on and revealed the figure.

"Grace Riley! What the hell are you doing here?" Dewey Riley yells.

"Dad?" Grace says coming out of her curled up ball, "You scared me half to death!"

"You're scaring me, why are you here and where is your mother?" Dewey says

"Kirby was supposed to babysit but she canceled so Mom took me with her" Gracie says

"And what is mom doing?" Dewey said as his face shrunk.

"I don't know, she had a bag of cameras though. Said something about justice, I don't know I wasn't really listening" Gracie said

"Gracie, your mom is in trouble and I have to go help her. Can you go in my car and if you need help just radio one of my deputies." says Dewey as he helps his daughter off the floor of the car.

"I guess the cop car is a little safer" Gracie says following her dad into the car.

🔪🔪🔪

As minutes go by and her parents have not returned Gracie starts to doze off to sleep until she is awoken by gunshots. Everyone at the party starts to scatter in a panic. Gracie ducks down in the car until someone runs into the cop car. The person fell to the ground and their mask fell off. Gracie recognized that hair, she always stood next to it in family photos.

"Jill?" Gracie says exiting the car quickly to check on the girl who was basically family to her.

Gracie wiped the hair out of her face when she saw Jill's eyes open and staring back at her. Jill grabbed her wrist and said, "Someone should have stayed in the car"

"Why are you holding me so tight, Jill? That hurts" Gracie said as Jill pulled her away from the house, "Where are we going, I'm supposed to get Ice cream with my mom"

"Oh yeah, she told me to bring you. She'll meet us there, Gracie. Just get in the car" Jill said, harshly pushing Gracie in her car.

🔪🔪🔪

Jill drives to her house but stops the car a street away.

"Jill, I know it's dark but isn't your house up there?" Gracie says with a sass in her voice.

Jill reaches into her pockets and pulls out a sliver knife.

"Jill? We forgot dessert, we should go back, my mom will be wondering where I am" Gracie says as panic starts to set in.

"Shhh, little one. I've got a job to do. Now you remember what your mommy told you to do right?" Jill said, turning the knife in her hand and moving it towards Gracie.

"To stay in the car" Gracie said as her eyes started to fill up with tears.

"That's right, stay in the car. Or else..." Jill says as she exits the car and walks towards her house.

In front of her house were two police officers, put there to protect Sidney and Jill.

"Sidney Prescott, detail man, I don't like it. The cops guarding the house always get it" Detective Hoss says

"What are you talking about?" Deputy Perkins says

"Some movie cop rules. Sucks to be a cop in a movie, unless your Bruce Willis," Hoss says

"Not all movie cops die" Perkins says

Their conversation continues as they hear a noise outside their car.

"I'll take the next perimeter, I'll be right back" Perkins says exiting the car until he realizes what he says and he pauses, "Shit! I know this one, your not supposed to say that"

"You never know, new decade, new rules. These days you might come back and find me dead" Hoss says.

"These idiots, stop giving her ideas!" Gracie says, slapping her head.

Hoss ends up taking the next search and as he exits Perkins whispers, "He's a dead man walking"

🔪🔪🔪

At Stab-A-ton Dewey runs back to the car to get a first aid kit for Gale and when he goes to the car, he realizes Gracie is missing. He starts searching around and yelling, "Gracie! Gracie, where are you? You were supposed to stay in the car!"

Dewey runs back into the barn where the stab-a-thon was being held and reaches Gale.

"Were you yelling Gracie's name?" Gale says

"Yes, I left her in my car and now she's not there," Dewey said, putting pressure on Gale's stab wound. She tries to get up but he pushes her down.

"Where do you think you're going? You just got stabbed!" Dewey says

"My little girl is missing, I don't care if I bleed out. We need to find her Dewey" Gale says

"Ok, let's find our girl" Dewey says, lifting her from the ground and helping her over to the car.
