A week had gone by since Yujin had joined the camp and things had gotten better for him. He made friends from his team and he became the beloved youngest. The last two nights he and his two housemates spent the nights over at Woonggi, SeoWon, and Junhyeon's cabin. Yujin had never felt more social in his life. He was even able to forget about the incident with Ollie when he was around other people. When he was alone, he often thought about what he could've done differently. In the other camp, it was a similar situation with Ollie. He was able to enjoy new friends but he regretted everything that happened on the day of the kickball match. It wasn't that big of a deal, either. The more he thought about it the worse he felt about how he handled the situation. At first, he brushed it off as him just being agitated and in pain, but that wasn't a very reasonable excuse anymore. He was mostly fine now and only had to secure his nose with medical tape every other day instead of every few hours. He was slowly able to join back in with the summer festivities. The last few days he had just been sitting off to the side lines with Zhanghao and Sung Hanbin which wasn't very pleasant. Best Friends. Sure.
"Tomorrow there's a military training course." Keita looked at the new schedule hung up on Cabn four's wall. There were about ten people in one household right now, excluding Zhanghao, Takuto, and Krystian. They all decided to stay in their own cabins for now. Since Krystian was feeling under the weather, they all thought it was best to stay isolated.
"A what?" Matthew seemed heavily amused by the idea of a bunch of guys screaming and trying to get around obstacles. Either that, or he just smiled all the time.
"I think it'll be fun," Kamden shrugged, lounging in the loveseat. He was almost sunk into the cushions but he didn't seem to care. Kaden just let it happen.
"Right?" Zihao agreed, looking around the room to see if anybody else wanted to jump on the positivity bandwagon. There were a bunch of disappointed looking faces.
"I'm more disappointed that this program was actually able to come up with this many ways to keep us occupied for four weeks." Wumuti commented, swirling his room temperature tea around in the basic, off-white coffee mug. "Like, who just gets a military training course for fun?"
"This place is over three-hundred acres." Keita slipped in his fun-fact, balancing himself on the arm of the couch.
"It's what?" Haruto exclaimed. Keita tilted his head slightly.
"You haven't noticed that we don't ever go the same way to each daily activity? There's trails everywhere."
"I'm not surprised," Anthonny shrugged, looking over his shoulder at the clock. Almost eleven p.m.. "I heard that the leader for the other team has them working day and night to try and beat us."
"Beat us in what, kiddie games?" Ricky scoffed, his usual confident grin spread on his lips.
"The final match." Keita said mysteriously, leaning forward off the arm of the chair. He had a devious and mischievous expression, almost as if he was about to begin telling a scary story. As if on cue, lightning flashed through the mahogany blinds and reflected onto Keita's face. He sat back in his original position, perched on the couch and looking taken aback. "That was unintentional." He couldn't help but smile as everybody busted out into laughter.
Once everybody died down, Ollie noticed how hard it had actually started raining.
"Seriously, though, what is the last match? It better be cool." Haruto leaned forward from his spot in the carper, intrigued. Keita peered down at him fondly before that trouble-making smile appeared on his face again.
