The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black is known for being one of the largest, oldest, and wealthiest pure-blooded wizarding families in Great Britain, and apart of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. The Sacred twenty-eight is a group consisting the purebloods, who are still considered pure. The Blacks are known for all being sorted into the house of the snakes, Slytherin.

The Blacks nod their heads in agreement at what is being said. Sirius smirk at was is being said, before looking over at his so called family.

"Well I guess that's not true anymore" Sirius says smugly

"I don't know how you taught this boy, but clearly it wasn't good enough" Druella exclaim looking at Walburga and Orion

"We don't question your parenting, and you don't question ours" Orion says

Sirius look at his dad surprised, that he just defended him or kinda.

"We both know that's a lie, don't we sister?" Cygnus questions

"You have no place to talk brother, you two take it way too far" Walburga says

Sirius look at his parents confused along with everyone else except the four Black sisters. The four sisters shudder, or three of them do the last just smile sadistic.

The Blacks has a great importance on blood purity, considered themselves royalty and by other purebloods in the wizarding world and disdaining Muggles, Squibs, blood traitors, and Muggle-borns. They're family motto, which is Toujours Pur, meaning "Always Pure" in French. Many members takes the phrase very seriously, and are willing to even marry and have children with their own cousins to keep the bloodline pure.

Orion and Walburga scoff yeah like they have a choice. Some others cringe in disgust at marrying there cousin. Purebloods can't really say anything, there all related somehow.

Of course there are some who don't believe in blood purity, but they are disowned right after and never spoken of again by any other Black. They have simply never existed in the eyes of the rest of the Blacks.

Sirius and Andromeda look at their so called family, knowing just how true it is.

The Blacks are known for practicing the dark arts, and mastering it. They are also known for their names, which is named after a star or constellation.

Leo look at his parents, he is also named after a star. Seems like they also kept the tradition going, even though they aren't agreeing with the blood purity. His aunt Narcissa and uncle Lucius clearly did too with Draco.

The Blacks were commonly described as having "great good looks" and a certain aristocratic elegance and haughtiness that reflected upon their personalities, for they considered themselves "practically royal".
The traditional look for the majority of the Black family is dark hair and dark grey eyes, though there are some exceptions. Despite the differences, each and every one of the Black's are still known to be a beauty in their own way, being of tall and elegant stature with attractive features.

Everyone in the hall check the Blacks out, before nodding or humming in agreement. Which does nothing but boost their egos, some more than others.

"They ain't lying" James whisper in Ara's ear, causing her to shiver

The Peverell brothers, Antioch, Cadmus, and Ignotus, is believed by some to be the subjects of the wizarding legend, "The Tale of the Three Brothers."
Each possessed one of the Deathly Hallows; Antioch possessed the Elder Wand, Cadmus possessed the Resurrection Stone, and Ignotus possessed the Cloak of Invisibility.

James look at his hands finding them very interesting, Ara take his hands into hers planting a kiss on the top of his. James smile at Ara admiring her, I mean how can you not.

According to legend, Antioch was murdered in his sleep the night after winning his first duel with the Elder Wand. He had boasted of its power, and someone coveted the wand enough to kill him for it. It is unknown if Antioch was really murdered, though given the Elder Wand's violent history, it seems likely, or if he had any descendants.

The legend also says that Cadmus committed suicide after using the Resurrection Stone to bring back his beloved, having found the experience completely unfulfilling. Not only was Cadmus's beloved an echo of herself in life, she found the world of the living uncomfortable and wished to return to the afterlife. Cadmus lived long enough to, at the very least, sire children, and it is likely that his beloved, who had died an untimely death, may have died in childbirth.

Most of the last generation shrug not knowing, while 10 of them look nervous already knowing.

Ignotus passes on the cloak after living a long life.
The legend eventually says that Ignotus lived a long and fulfilling life and, having decided to elude Death no longer, passed the Cloak of Invisibility on to his own son. He joined Death and welcomed him as a brother. The cloak has continued to be handed down from parent to child through the generations.

"I'm so confused now" Hermione says really irritated about not knowing anything about it

Most from this generation gasp, while Hermione all glare at them.

Potter is the surname of an old wizarding family descended from Ignotus Peverell and Linfred of Stinchcombe. The Potters is, for many generations, Pure-blood. But they were excluded from the Sacred Twenty-Eight due to their egalitarian stance on blood purity. The Potters have traditionally been sorted into the house of lions ,Gryffindor.

Everyone on the great hall become silent slowly turning to see James smiling awkwardly.

"Your a descendant of the Peverells!" Hermione exclaim in shock

"I guess" Leo says surprised and a little unsure
