Zed's POV
It's been a few days after mine and Addison's rekindling. I also haven't heard from Wyatt in a while. I wonder when I will... Lemme try to call him...
... Goes straight to voicemail... sigh...
" Hey!" Addison comes up from behind, trying to cheer me up with her peppy expression." Nothing from Wyatt, hm?"
I shake my head no.
" You think he's giving you the silent treatment?" Addison asks.
" I can't blame him if he is..." I reply, feeling worse than ever.
" Oh c'mon... don't beat yourself up like that..." Addison fights my guilt with a kiss on the cheek." I mean yes, it's kinda messed up that you're back with me, and haven't told him, but it just takes time..."
At this point, I don't know whether to agree with her, or scold her. But she is right tho... it's almost as like my mind can't make a choice... I follow things blindly, and never realize the consequences that come with it... another thing that time punishes me for...
Wyatt's POV
It's been a few days after I hanged out with Eliza. I got a call from Zed... But I decided to ignore it. At this point... I don't even know if I have the guts to talk to him... or even worse... hear him say those final words... I mean it's expected to happen, I already know it... I'm just not ready for when it happens...
" Hey Wy? You okay?" Wynter peeks her head out of the wolf den, as I stand outside it, leaning against the stone wall.
" Not really... my minds all mixed up." I sigh.
Wynter responds with a hug." It's okay. It just takes time."
Time... TIME... it's so funny how it's mentioned everywhere you go... it's almost as if it's a person... and if it was, it wouldn't be nice to me and Zed, since we always never find a good time...
" Hey guys, what's..." Willa comes out, walling in on mine and Wynter's embrace." Uhhhh, did I miss something??"
" No. Wynter just thought I needed a hug." I inform Willa.
" Oh? Why's that?" Willa asks.
" Wyatt's not feeling okay." Wynter exposes me.
" NOT OKAY!? ARE YOU SICK?? DID ZED HURT YOU?!" Willa snarls as she extends her wolf claws, getting ready to claw someone's heart out.
" Willa, please... I'm already feeling down as ever... don't make it worse..." I stop her.
" Sigh... sorry. I just... worry about you, especially since you're my brother and all..." Willa worries.
" I'll be fine, I promise. I just... need to recollect myself for a bit." I inform her.
" We'll be inside if you need us then..." Wynter lets me know, as she escorts Willa back inside the den.
After they leave, I finally gain the courage, and call Zed back.
Zed's POV
RING RING!!
OH CRAP, IT'S WYATT.
" Oh gosh, it's him!!" I inform Addison.
" Well what're you waiting for?? ANSWER!!!!" Addison commands me. I quickly answer the phone.
" Hello?" I speak.
" Hey Zed..." Wyatt speaks.
" Hey Wy, how you've been?" I ask.
