A Day to Remember [ on going series]

Chapter One

Selena Hamlet, 21 years old, Graduate of Culinary Arts in Masters Degree. I work as a Chef to the most wealthiest family in our country, they're the Deneiro. Their son, Matthew is the one I have loved for almost five years since I started working at their family. Mr. and Mrs. Deneiro is not like the other typical rich people who judge and mistreat people by their jobs. They're very down to earth and help Charities and sponsor students that cannot afford college like me.

Matthew Deneiro is decent, gentleman, sometimes humorous, and polite man. He never disrespect his parents. He's always been a good boy to his parents, friends and in public. He was never reported dating anyone, going on a bars or even a record in jail. He's always there at his room reading books, blogging on social networks and sometimes they go fishing with his dad. He has all the money, fame and power but he never take advantage of it. I started working for them when I was 16 due to financial problems of my family and my parents cannot afford to enroll me to school because I have 3 younger sisters and toddler baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Deneiro knew my case so they advanced my 2 months Salary to give to my family and enrolled me at the prestigious school where they son studies,too. In exchange, I'll have to live at their mansion and be with the kitchen team to manage every food that will be serve to them. Thinking that I'll be far away with my family, I have to accept the fact that I'll be living this life for years until I give my family a sustainable life. It's not a bad life, though. I have a comfortable life at Deneiro's Mansion; I have my own room at the basement, I'm gonna study at the prestigious school together with their son, I have salary every month that can give a very big help to our family and last but not the least my one and only love, Matthew and live in the same house.

Today was one of the memorable day ever in my life. Why? I am almost... Very close to my dream guy that I wanna be with my entire life. His parents were very down to earth persons. They're just like simple people who live at the mansion and all the wealth they have. I very much thankful for the help they' ve done to my family. And to think that I'll be going at the same school where Matthew goes. Is this really happening? Oh my gosh. It felt like it was all a dream but here I am now living my dream. Thank you, Dear Lord.
