A Day to Remember [ on going series]

Chapter Five

What he's saying. I turned around to look at him. It seem like he's having a bad dream. But why would he call my name?

"Selena ? Where are you? Come back." He said again like he's scared at someone.

So I sit beside him and hold his right hand to assure him that he's safe. "Hey. I am here. Everything's alright. Don't be scared." I assured him. His grip got even tighter like he don't want to let go of me.
However, he's still in a deep sleep.

A minute later he woken up and open his one eye.

"How do you feel?" I caressed his cheeks.
And he hold my hand tightly.

"I had a bad dream and I felt really bad. Will stay with me for the night?" he pleaded then he move a little and ask me sleep beside him.

I'm so flattered right now I hope he's as sweet as this when he gets better. I feel like he treats me special. So I sit beside him, arranged the blanket and brushed his hair with my fingers to make him fall asleep again. As I caressed his hair, I fall asleep in my position.

I woke up by the beam of sunlight flashing through the window. I look at the time, six in the morning. I felt his hands on my waist and my head on his chest. It felt like we're newly wed couple sleeping in one bed. I tried to get up to prepare breakfast but he hold me tighter.

"Please stay here for a while. I never felt so much comfort like this before." he whispered at me and hug me more tighter.

I feel so loved. I can feel that I'm blushing. I can feel his breathe , we stayed there for quite a while. And I hug him back and I felt that he kissed my forehead.

"How do you feel now?" I asked him and lift up my head to see him.

He look down at me and his face an inch close to me. I can't breathe. Is this really happening?

"I feel so much better now. Thanks for taking care of me and staying here for the night. I never felt care like this before since my parents were always busy to their business." he muttered.

"Thanks to you ,also. You're always there for me." he added.

"My pleasure. It's not a big deal, Matthew. Besides it's my job to take care of you since your parents told me to be incharge to take care of you until they come back from their business trip." I explained to him.

"Are you sure you're okay now? I'm going downstairs to prepare your breakfast. Go wash up before you eat. You stink already." I joked him.

And I can hear his giggle when I closed the door.

Half an hour later I can see him heading to dining room, just in time that I served his breakfast.

"Perfect time. That looks sumptuos meal." he compliments.

I smiled at him and I was about exit to the door when called me.

"Selena, come join me here. I don't want to eat here alone. It's too lonely. " he insisted.

I added a plate across him,put a salad to my plate and bacons.

We ate together silently.

"Are you busy tonight?" he asked

"Not actually. I'll just drove off the city to grocery some supplies." I answered as I continue eating my salad.

"Well, I can drive you if you want and I'll show you somewhere in the city afterwards. If that's okay with you." he muttered.

I think twice before I answered him. It's been strange how he treats since he got sick.

"Okay. Fine with me." I smiled at him and finished my food and brought the plates in the kitchen.

The day went well as it's usual day. I cleaned the kitchen, did the laundry and cleaned the rooms. While he called his parents and reported them that he's fine. It's been three days already since they left.
I knocked at his door to put his clean clothes. He's half naked with a towel on his waist. Damn. It's wrong timing I guess but I have no choice. "I'm sorry. Am I disturbing you? I'll just put this clothes on your cabinet quickly. And by the way, I'll just remind yoi that we're leaving at 6pm. I'll just wait you downstairs." I quickly closed the door and breathe deeply.

His body is so sexy. I wish I could touch those abs someday.
