A Day to Remember [ on going series]

Chapter Six

Half an hour past and yet he's not coming down. I am here, alone in the living room, sitting on this fluffy couch. So while waiting I write an entry on my journal that I haven't updated for 3 weeks now.

10th August 2014

I am currently waiting Matthew from taking bath since he said that he's coming with me to grocery store. I've been so happy these past few days. Mr. and Mrs. De Neiro were gone for business trip and they'll be back in 2 days now. This last three days, I had a ... Let's say a short time alone with him. I took care of him for three days of being sick. I have this feeling right now that I can't explain. I have loved him for ever since I was twelve. I wish that this feelings will last forever. I don't want to leave him, I want to be always beside to let him know that I am here always for him.

I feel a sudden breath on my neck that makes me shiver. I turn around and saw Matthew smiling at me.

"How long are you standing there? You scared me." I said shockingly.

"A couple of minutes now. What are you writing?" he interrogted.

"Nothing. Just grocery list." I said like being guilty of doing something. Then I closed my journal.

"Then why do you look nervous? Are you hiding something? " he teased me while his face were getting closer to mine.

"Stop it , matthew. Silly. C'mon. Let's go to the city, we have a long list to buy." I pushed him then smiled at him and I walked out the living room.

Damn! Why does he always do that? He's making me blush.

I grabbed my coat because it's getting colder since the winter is near.

He followed right away and opened the door for me. Such a gentleman guy. That's why I have always wanted to marry this guy.

Twenty minutes later when we arrived at the grocery store.

"Are you coming with me? If not, you can pick me after an hour." I said to him.

"No, I'll go with you for sure you'll have a lot of paper bags to bring that'll be heavy." he said and loceked the car as we headed to the grocery store.

He pushed the cart, while I get the food on the list.

It was the most awkward moment I have ever been. We are not talking at each other. Not even a letter , word or phrase.
I continue getting things from the list while he's keep on following me wherever I go.

The cart were half fulled already and there were few things left to buy on the list.

"We're almost done , few more things left then we're good to pay at the counter." I assured him. Coz I think that he's pretty bored.

"Okay." he said. While he's scrolling his phone.

We load the paper bags full of supplies on the trunk drove off the road.

"Where are we going?" I asked as he turned the car opposite to the road to mansion.

"I told you, I'm gonna show you something, right?" he told me then smiled at me.

He parked on a garden. It was dark but I can hear the waves from the beach near by. He opened the door and took my hand as I slid off the car. He put blindfold on me because he said he wants to surprise me. I can feel the cold breeze as we straight forward. We stop at elevated floor. I hear a low ballad background music. Matthew assisted me to sit on an armchair.
