Harry looked around. They were in Doncaster. Finally.
He looked in front of him and saw a rather small but cute house that they will have to get used to call their own. It's not amazing but it definitely is better than where they lived before. Not because of the structure, but because of the 'homey' vibe that it gave off.
"C'mon family, we're starting a new life" said Des(his father). They all exited the car and went to the gateway of their new house. Harry and Gemma went running, but it didn't do much because they still had to wait for their father to open the door considering he was the only one who had a key. Des and Anne went slowly walking to the entrance, like really slowly, just to tease their kids a little. Harry was being patient, but Gemma wasn't having it.
"C'mooooooon! Ugh! Can't you go a little faster? We have to be in school in less than an hour, and I don't want to be late the first day!" she half-yelled. It could have seen like she was actually angry, but in reality she was just a little bit annoyed with their parents behaviour.
Des laughed. "Sorry, sorry. Just teasing." He said with a smirk while opening the door. They all entered the house and looked around. It wasn't really decorated, but there was enough furniture to start living. They first entered the living room. There was a beige sofa with blue, white and stripped cushions. There was a fake plant in the left next to the sofa and a white big lamp in the right. Up in the wall there were two bookshelfs with a small mirror and a few magazines. They had to redecorate that, for sure; but now they don't really have the time. Anne was gonna start now probably, 'cause now that they moved, she was gonna work from home and had these week off. Des got a new job here straight away when they decided they were gonna move in so he had to start working today. Harry and Gemma had to be in school in 40 minutes.
"Okay. Gemma! Harry! You have to get the bus now or you're gonna be late. I packed you your breakfast so you can eat it on the way to school. We love you, have a great first day." said Anne. They both said goodbye to their parents and exited the house, but before Gemma could exit completely, Anne grabbed her by her shoulder and whispered to her "Gemma, stay with your brother the most you can, he will need your help getting used to school after what happened. I know you can't keep alphas away from him considering you're a beta and they're stronger than you, but please try your best. Maybe he doesn't show it, but he's scared, like really really scared. He needs a protector, a shield, a rock. Do you think you can be that?" she asked.
Gemma looked simpathetically at her brother before saying "Don't worry mum, I won't let anyone get too close to him if he doesn't want to, I won't let anything happen to him, not again." she finished with a sad look on her face.
"That's all I'm asking for. Go! Have a great first day, we love you." said Anne while pushing Gemma out the house. Gemma laughed but ran all the way to where his brother was waiting for her. "Let's go lil bro, we don't want to be late on the first day!" said Gemma while giggling and they both walked to the bus station, waiting for the school bus to arrive.
They were the only ones in the station, which they found kinda weird, but decided not to comment about it.
Five minutes and two buses later the school bus finally arrived. To say Harry was nervous was an understatement, he was almost shaking. A lot of students go to school in this bus, so it would be the first time they will see some of their school partners, and that definitely mortified him. He wanted to run the other way and never stop till he reached the sea, but he couldn't always run away. He had done it once, and he can't do it again. He had to face it. So with a lot of fear he entered the bus with Gemma, who had been waiting for Harry to stop his 'freak out' scene, because even if she was more confident, she still wanted to enter with someone.
When they entered the bus every pair of eyes stopped watching their phones and looked at them. Well, more like looked at Harry.
What attracted them to look at him first was his scent. It was a mix between honey and tulips, and it was amazing. At least that's what people told Harry, that he had the best and most addictive scent they had ever smelled. Even other omegas were amazed by his scent.
Then when they all looked at him they were amazed by two things. The first one was his beauty. Harry was a really, like really beautiful omega that every alpha would dream to have. With his curls brown hair and his gorgeous captivating green eyes. Harry didn't think he was beautiful at first, but with all the daily compliments he got he was starting to believe it. The second one was that he was a male omega, which was like reaaaaally rare. There were only about 500 male omegas on the entire world, so this was the first time everyone in the bus see one, and they were astonished. Male omegas were something very precious in this world that someone who was able to just kiss one had to say they were lucky.
Now in this bus there were 2 kinds of people. First were all the alphas and betas, that just wanted to get to know him and date him and just have him. And second were all the omegas in the bus, that some were looking at him with jealousy 'cause of his looks, some were looking at him with a glare because their alpha or beta was basically drooling over Harry in front of them, and last but not least the ones that were looking at him with a smile because they wanted to be his friends to become popular, 'cause they knew that he was gonna be popular just by entering the school gate.
Harry looked at his feet, that right now seem very interesting, while Gemma looked for 2 empty seats. When she found them, she took Harry by his wrist and led him fast so they could seat. What Gemma didn't see was that while they were walking, alphas and betas looked at Harry's ass, but he as hell did. So when he sat, he looked at his lap hoping no one will try to talk with him, but ✨ObViOuSlY✨ luck wasn't on his side as he saw a tall, built alpha aproach him.
'Why do things never go as planned?' thought Harry as he saw the alpha just a few feets away from him, and coming closer.
