The 4 women ate dinner and chatted about the upcoming events that they had to partake in helping with at school.
"Okay, okay enough about work, Wanda, how has the move been? Settling in nicely?" Natasha asked.
"Its been really nice, I haven't had a chance to meet my neighbors, yet, but the house is really nice, I can have you guys over once it's a little homier. Once my garden is up and running, and I have to get the pool cleaned." Wanda said as she played with the last bite of food on her plate.
"You have a pool in your backyard!" Darcy jumped into the conversation
"Uhh yeah, It was a big selling point for me, actually. I have some family members who can't wait to come swim." Wanda said, but seeming like she said too much.
Agatha caught on to her sudden mood change and noted it, but it wasn't her place to pry.
"Alright, I'll take the dishes since Nat cooked." Agatha stated as she stood up and collected the plates.
"Yeah, uhh, I also helped with dinner!" Darcy said as she jumped up and grabbed one of the bottles of wine Agatha brought.
"Nat grab some glasses, we can find a movie." Darcy ran into the living room and took a seat on one of the chairs.
Wanda just stood there looking, softly giggling before offering up help with the dishes.
"Only if you want, but I can't promise any more fun than drunk Darcy right now." Agatha said as she set the plates in the sink and turned on the water.
"I'll be nice and put you on drying duty." Agatha winked at Wanda, and the light blush on her cheeks not going un-missed by the older woman.
The two stood and did the dishes, every once in awhile sneaking glances at each other. The two finished up the dishes and headed out to the living room.
Agathas stomach dropped when she saw the only seats left where on Darcys loveseat. A loveseat is called a loveseat for a reason.
Agatha caught Natasha eye, and Nat sent her a wink while mouthing "You're Welcome"
"So we are watching My Girl!" Darcy said as she sipped her wine and pulled her blanket over her.
"NO, no, every time we watch that you cry! We are not subjecting Wanda to that her first girls night!" Agatha said as she stole the remote and sat down on the two person couch.
She tried to keep as close to the arm rest as possible to give Wanda room to sit, since it was the only other seat in the room.
"We are watching Miss Congeniality, I'm in the mood for some Miss Sandy." Natasha said, at Agatha who was just staring at the remote, trying not to look at the stunning redhead next to her.
Agatha got the movie set up, and all the women sat watching the movie. About 45 minutes in she notice Wanda pulling her sweater over her wrist and wrapping her arms around herself, obviously trying to warm up.
"Oh sweetheart, do you need a blanket?" Agatha said, feeling like she had to make sure the younger woman was warm.
Agatha grabbed the blanket from behind her on the couch and draped it open.
"No, no, I promise I'm okay, you'll be cold, too!" Wanda said sitting up and trying to deflect.
"Don't worry, I'll be good!" Agatha said as she handed the blanket over to Wanda.
She was in fact, not good.
As they finished the movie, Agatha was hoping the glass of wine would help her warm up, but why the hell was Darcy's house so cold in the first place.
