After Hours

chapter 4

Friday Afternoon

"Did you get the wine I wanted?" Darcy asked as she walked into the teachers lounge.

Agatha was sitting at the table, picking at her salad with her fork and scrolling through her phone.

"Yes Darcy, I got 2 bottles." Agatha said turning off her phone and taking a bite.

"Only 2? Agatha....." Darcy wined as she sat down across from her.

"No Darcy. Last time, you threw up. I can't sit through that again."

"Fine. Maybe Nat will be vodka again." Darcy huffed and dig into her sandwich.

As the girls ate their lunches, made some small talk before parting ways.

"Okay, i'll see you later, remember 7pm!" Darcy said as she walked back to her room "And remember Wanda's coming!" she said with a wink and scurried off.

Agatha didn't forget. She's been thinking about it all week. What she was going to wear? What was Wanda going to be wearing? Is she spending the night?

Agatha made her way back to her room and sat at her desk. She only had 3 hours til school was out. 7 hours til she sees Wanda, and Darcy and Natasha, but Wanda.

Friday Early Evening

Agatha had gotten home and decided not to unpack her work bag since allegedly Darcy said they would be doing some grading together.

She headed upstairs and decided to take a shower to refresh herself. As she stood in the shower, her mind couldn't help but drift to Wanda.

What's Wanda doing?

Why am I thinking about Wanda?

Agatha wouldn't even admit it to herself, but she hasn't stopped thinking about Wanda. Anytime her mind drifted, it was Wanda who captivated. Agatha daydreamed about her.

Agatha got out of the shower and dried off. She styled her hair, put in a little extra work. She wasn't going to stress about putting more makeup on.

She walked to her closet and picked out a pair of black leggings and a dark purple sweatshirt.

She decided to go throw a load of laundry in to waste sometime before she has to leave. On her way to the laundry room, she grabbed her phone and noticed a text from an unknown number.

hi, I hope you don't mind, Darcy gave me your number earlier this week, but she never gave me her address for tonight. 

oh it's Wanda, sorry.

Agatha quickly changed the number to Wanda's name.

                  hey wanda! don't worry about it. at least you have it now! and her address is (random ass address) see ya later!

Agatha responded to Wanda's text. She has Wanda's number now. She went and loaded her laundry and went back to her living room.

Agatha decided she could leave now and be a little early. She loaded up the bottles of wine in a tote bag and made sure she had her overnight bag with some clothes. She locked everything up and made her way to her car.

She shuffled some music, put the car in drive and decided to take the long way to Darcy's to waste some time.
