Our dear Anne didn't know how to ask Catalina out, so she did her best to impress her. Because, maybe if she tried hard enough, Catalina would realise what was going on and ask her out instead. But Anne is clumsy and Catalina oblivious. After many, many failed attempts to get Catalina to be hers, Anne gives up.

Anne got an online crush, hopelessly, she fell in love with a stranger who texted her over Instagram one day, clearly through a burner account, with compliments that made her knees weaken. But in school, Anne is obsessing over the sports team leader Anna, who is somehow the friend of a friend. Anna, while normally pretty open about all her opinions, feels way more comfortable texting her hallway crush anonymously.
