Chapter three

Prison escape and the Loss of a mother:

So right now Jane is in the hospital/healer room of Asgard. Thor and Odin are arguing over Jane. I was just standing outside the door, like I used to when I waited for Loki in these situations. Soon I heard Guards screaming.

"Oh what a beautiful sound" I muttered to myself.

"Come with me. There are relics that pre-date the universe itself. What lies within her appears to be one of them. Get Estella too, she might know about this type of magic" Odin said as I followed along.

"Estella what do you know about this Magic" Jane asked me while we walked to the Library. Somewhere I used to spend all my time.

"The Nine Realms are not eternal. They had a dawn as they will have a dusk. But before that dawn the dark forces, the Dark Elves, reigned absolute and unchallenged." I said pulling down a book on Dark elves. I sent a breath out. Looks like I would have to read about my father.

"Born of eternal night the Dark Elves come to steal away the light.I know these stories. Mother told them to us as children. Their leader Malekith made a weapon out of that darkness and it was called the Aether." THor said opening the book.

"While the other relics often appear as stones the Aether is fluid and everchanging. It changes matter into dark matter. It seeks out host bodies, drawing strength from their life-force. Malekith sought to use the Aether's power to return the universe to one of darkness. But, after eternities of bloodshed Your grandfather Bor finally triumphed ushering in a peace that lasted thousands of years." I added on.

"What happened?" Jane asked.

"He killed them all." Odin said.

"Are you certain? The Aether was said to have been destroyed with them, and yet here it is." I asked, even thought I knew that the elves where still alive. I had seen them.

"Does your book happen to mention how to get it out of me?" Jane asked again.

"No. It does not." Thor groaned.

"You will become darkness. Cursed to this existence until it consumes you. Until then. no power our enemies possess can stop you. I will tear down their defenses and ensure your return to a universe reborn." I told Jane, something in her eyes told me that I looked like a villain. I turned around to walk away, a smiled playing on my face. It must be so hard rooting for the Anti-Hero.

I entered my room, it was dark and gothic. Kind of like Lydia's in Beetlejuice. I rolled my eyes at the thought of helping fight against the dark elves. I knew all their weaknesses. It's just that they too knew mine. Suddenly I heard a bunch of screaming and shouting from downstairs. Even some roaring if that was even possible.

"Move!" Thor yelled at me as soon as I exited my room,

"To the dungeons! Come on!"

"You might want to take the stairs to the left." I told thor as I took out my daggers.

"The prisons." Thor whispered as we saw a bunch of people running out for the dungeons.

"Loki..." I whispered. Jane and Frigga where behind me by the way.

"Go." Frigga said. "I will look after her." We ran to the dungeons.

"Return to your cells, no further harm will come to you. You have my word." THor shouted at the league of prisoners, one then tried to attack him. "Very well, you do not have my word." We started to fight to the death, Loki, who I hadn't noticed there before. Was reading a book the whole time, and every here and there would send a glance towards me. I killed a whole bunch of them. THe others I sent back into their cells.
