John woke up to his alarm blaring in his ear. Damn,it's Monday already? He thought as he sat up. "John,are you awake yet?" Sera asked while knocking on his door.

"Yeah,I'm up," John replied. "Good,because I've been waiting for like,15 minutes."

"15 MINUTES???" John stuttered.

Around 2 minutes later,John came out of his dorm fully dressed in his uniform.

"Took ya long enough," Sera laughed.

"Hey,my alarm didn't go off at the right time," he replied.

Sera laughed and continued walking down the hall. They arrived at school 5 minutes later. "Hey John,hey Seraphina!" Evie and Dyllan yelled from down the hall.

"Hey guys!" The two replied.

They continued walking until they reached the roof. When they got there,Arlo was sitting down on his phone. "Hey Arlo," John said,catching his attention.

"Hey John," he replied.

"I'm honestly surprised you 2 get along," Sera laughed.

John let out a slight chuckle,causing Arlo to look up from his phone. "Wow,you can laugh?" He retorted.

"Yes,I can laugh,thank you very much," John replied.

He turned around and started walking to his first class,history. He also happened to share his first hour with Arlo and Blyke. When he got there,he noticed that most of the students were gone. "Where'd everyone go?" John asked

"There's a little bit of an illness getting spread around school,so theres not many students,"the teacher replied.

How come I didn't know about this?? John thought,"How many people are out right now?" He asked.

"So far around 1/4 of the students and staff," their teacher said.

John sighed and sat down at his desk. Class continued as normal until an announcement came over the loudspeaker. "Attention students and faculty,school will be cancled for the rest of the day. Please go home and do not leave your dorms. Also,will John and Arlo please report to Headmaster Vaughn's office?"

"Hm. I wonder what that's about?" John mumbled before getting up and starting his trip to the office.

"So. There's been a change in your dorm partners. Starting now,you 2 will be roommates," Vaughn explained.

The two boys looked at each other,and John held out his fist,waiting for Arlo to return the gesture. "Come on,bro. Don't leave me hanging," John said.

Arlo chuckled and held his fist out to return the gesture that John had made. "So I guess it's settled then," Vaughn said.

"Yep," John said.

"Good."

Arlo sighed as he closed his last dresser drawer. "FINALLY,I'M DONE!" He yelled. "AYO SHUT UP," John yelled back.
