3rd person POV:

The grades of the finals came in, and everyone apart of the little friend group got the grades they anticipated, also moving to the next year, while Chan, Minho, and Changmin graduated.

In a way, the group was splitting, with the oldest leaving to pursue their dream careers and Min-jun and Sofiah distancing from each other due to relationship problems.

The days were hectic, each one having problems to deal with, even the ones who seemed to have their life stable.

Helena also seemed to be going through a rough time, independent of the friendships she was doing, especially with Hyunjin.

She even started to have less time to speak with friends, and it seemed as if her schedules were completely messed up like something was stressing her out, but I guess it wasn't just her. Her brothers also had the same problem, like it was a matter that was either family-related or something that just involved the three of them.

Helena closed off in a way. Even if you went to the girls' dorm, she was nowhere to be seen, and if you got to catch her in your sight, she would be with either Yuta or Doyoung, always with a worried expression, looking like she was almost in the verge of crying.

Needless to say, everyone needed a break and they all looked at the upcoming party with hopeful eyes, praying it would bring some peace to their lives, even if it was just for the night.

Everyone gathered, dressed up with the outfit they had chosen for the occasion. It was mentioned it would be a slightly formal party, a concept all the guests respected.

Chris and Changmin were getting the cars ready, after all, it was a big group of people and one car only couldn't fit them all, while the rest waited for the last, who were still getting ready to show up.

Yeji ended up bringing some other friends as well, who had been welcomed into the friend group long ago.

Once everyone was ready, they set off to where Ravn had mentioned the party was, even if he was no longer a student at the academy, being kicked out by the University due to non-confirmed allegations.

The laughter that once filled the car rides was replaced with a tense atmosphere, the fault being conflicts between them.

It's hard to believe their relationships escalated so quickly, but they did and I believe that they'll get through it, but with a missing member...

As to continue where we left off, the group made its way to the party, entering and immediately splitting, moving to opposite corners of each other, but not all.

Some stayed together, like Hyunjin and Helena.

Everyone went to a corner, hosting cups with their preferred beverages, Hyunjin with a cup of champagne while Helena simply had a cup of lemon iced tea.

They chatted calmly, gossiping here and there, sharing critics of the outfit of choice of some guests, some getting brutally honest about how ugly some were.

Both were having a fun time, even spotting some of their friends, who were now on better terms from what it seemed, talking and laughing.

The little pair smiled softly, happy everyone was back to getting along, just like before.

Hyunjin, who was now slightly tipsy, started to flirt with Helena, who only found his state hilarious, not taking his talking to heart.

Everyone present at the event was having a good time, but, unfortunately, it was coming to an end, as all parties do.

Helena noticed it was getting late and tried to get the group back together, starting with Hyunjin.

She tried to drag him to where she not long ago had spotted Minho, to no avail since the boy seemed to be glued to the ground.

As she let a giggle due to the childish boy, he hugged her.

"I like you a lot.", whispered Hyunjin, making the girl blush lightly. She simply hugged him, a smile on her face, directing him around the crowd of people, also trying to find their friends.

Hyunjin cracked some jokes to ease the atmosphere between the pair, jokes which Helena found funny, giggling and laughing at each one.

She looked back a second to see how Hyunjin was pulling off, knowing he was still very tipsy.

Then.

Crack.

Helena felt a pinch on her cheek, her hand immediately moving to where she felt the slight plain, only for her fingers to feel a cut, more like a crack on ceramic, if we're being descriptive.

Hyunjin didn't quite notice the sudden change in expression Helena had, still smiling at the air, later turning his gaze to the girl, smile dropping once he saw the furrowed expression she had.

Crack.

Crack.

More and more of the same cracks, cuts, whatever you call it, were showing up on the poor girl's face, the quickness of their origin speeding by each passing second.

The girl smiled sheepishly, almost as if she was dozing off.

"Not again...", she murmured to herself. "Go tell Sofiah, ok?"

With that, the girl turned into ashes, no one apart from Hyunjin, of course, noticing.

The boy stood there, confused, before slowly leaving the area to look for Sofiah, finding her quite quickly.

She was with Min-jun again, meaning they most likely had made up.

Hyunjin explained what had just happened to Sofiah, not caring if Min-jun was around, after all, Helena didn't mention if he should speak solely with other girl.

Sofiah furrowed her eyebrows, leaving the boys behind, moving to the crowd, later coming back with Helena's siblings, who Hyunjin did not know were also attending the party.

"I think it's enough partying for the night. Min-jun get the rest together. Maybe it's time to clear things up.", said Doyoung.

The group split, doing what Doyoung had said, Min-jun and Hyunjin having a slight idea of what there was to talk about, but still interested in what the conversation could bring.

After Min-jun had gathered the group, they returned to the dorms.

Everyone sat in the living room eager to hear what Doyoung had to say.

"We have a lot to talk about..and I'm not sure if it's today that we're going to tell you...We need to talk to some people before and I promise we'll tell you everything, but we just think that the time is not right, especially if we're doing this out of impulse due to what happened today. Sleep on the subject and we'll talk when both parties feel comfortable. This is a story that might not be the most pleasant, to say the least.."
