I have a feeling a lot of people can't relate to me on this but I'm going to rant about this anyways.
The other day it was recess, and there is always this lady who brings ten, two year olds at the park at the school.
But once that lady brings them to the park she doesn't supervise them.
And the other day, all these other kids started running around the play ground and they were accidentally kicking the two year olds, and the babysitter didn't even notice.
So, my friend and I decided we should supervise the children.
We started walking around learning the two year olds names. Playing with them.
At the corner of my eye I see this two year old climbing up a small ladder that lead to the play set but the spaces in between were big enough for him to slip through and hurt himself.
I just decided to keep an eye on him.
A minute later I see these kids running along the play set as the toddler is trying to get on it. I started walking towards the toddler, and I saw the toddler freaked out. (My friend said someone stepped on his finger) the toddler went back and started falling through the space.
I go running towards the toddler and catch him because if I didn't he would have banged his teeth on one of the steps.
I was holding him, by the legs and I didn't know what to do. I'm very weak and he was slightly falling, I didn't want to pull his legs down because I know it could hurt him but I didn't want to push him up because I didn't want him to get hurt again.
I was just holding him waiting for the babysitter to notice.
After two minutes she sees me and I'm glad she can help and hoping she'll thank me for helping.
But I notice she looks angry while she's walking.
She walks up to me and yells "Don't pull him down by the legs."
I stood up for myself and said "I wasn't I just caught him before he slipped though the space."
"Dont pull him down by the legs. It'll hurt him." She repeated."I didn't." I responded, then she grabbed the two year old by the armpits and the child looked so uncomfortable and brought him over to where she was sitting.
Oh did I mention the babysitter brought a friend that she was talking to the whole to time.
Two minutes later that kid almost got hit by a person on a swing.
First of all if you are going to babysit two year olds bring them to a place where other people aren't.
Second of all WATCH THE CHILDREN
Thirdly, LISTEN TO ME WHILE IM TALKING I WAS HELPING HIM IM NOT STUPID I KNOW YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL HOLDING LITTLE TODDLERS.
There is more to rant about this. But I'm to lazy to rant more.
