Time skip it's been 6 months since the last chapter

Eddie's POV
Living with my dad has been great, and my mom's still in jail. Richie and I worked out all our relationship issues, and now we're better than ever. Stan and Bill came out to the group 2 months ago saying they've been dating for 4 months. Ben and Bev got together that same day. Mike came out as aro. Richie officially moved into our house, so my dad gave him his room. He still sleeps in my room though because of my nightmares. And now it's December. Which means it's almost Christmas. The losers club always does secret Santa. We draw during the first sleepover of December, which is today, and it's at my house. Usually, when we have sleepovers at my house, we all just go to the basement, where my dad set up a little den for when my friends come over.

I'm sitting down there waiting for everyone when Richie comes down.

"Hey shortie"

"Richie" I roll my eyes as he sits down next to me.

We start talking as everyone shows up.

The den is set up with a loveseat, a rocking chair, and two bean bags big enough for two people each. Mike's in the rocking chair, Stan and Bill are on one bean bag, Richie and I are in the other one, and Ben and Bev are on the loveseat. I run upstairs to get the tiny ass bowl with the names in it so we can draw names.

I get back downstairs so everyone can draw. I draw last, and I got Richie. We can spend up to $30 for secret Santa, but I already bought Richie some stuff for Christmas since he's my boyfriend.

[Richie got Beverly, Beverly got Stan, Stan got Mike, Mike got Bill, Bill got Ben, Ben got Eddie]

Bev- "Guys we should play never have I ever"

We always do what Bev suggests because none of us ever have any ideas and on the sleepovers that Bev hasn't gone to we just sit and do nothing.

Bev- "Okay for everyone who doesn't know how to play, you put 10 fingers up, and once someone says something you've done, you put a finger down, and the first one with all their fingers down loses."

Bev- "Okay, never have I ever had a crush on the same gender"

Everyone puts a finger down except Ben and Mike. But everyone knows that Ben's straight, and Mike doesn't have crushes.

Richie- "Never have I ever kissed a girl"

Richie, Bev, Bill, and Ben all put fingers down.

Me- "BEV YOU'VE KISSED A GIRL?!"

Bev- "yea, I've kissed a few at like parties and shit. But not since me and Ben got together, the real question is when did Richie kiss a girl? I thought Eddie was his first kiss."

Me- "He told me I was too.."

Everyone turns to look at Richie.

Richie- "Uh.."

Bill- "Richie. Did you cheat on Eddie?"

Richie- "No, at one of Bev's parties, before me and Eddie got together, I was questioning if I was gay or bi so I kissed some random ass girl, and I threw up after"

We all just burst out laughing.

Stan- "well either that girl is a really bad kisser, or Richie really is that gay"

Everyone starts laughing harder.

Bev- "yea this is boring. Ben and I are gonna go outside and get some fresh air"

They walk out and hear them go outside.

Richie- "They're definitely making out right now."

Bill- "Oh 100%"

Me- "Maybe they're not"

Stan- "Why wouldn't they be"

Me- "I'm pretty sure they're fucking"

Richie- "Woah Eds, you're innocent ears shouldn't be hearing that. We should go somewhere where you can't hear them"

Me- "Nope"

Stan- "Yea because Eddie's ears are virgins."

Bill- "Yea they've definitely heard some stuff"

Mike- "Yea and they've done stuff too.. not his ears. Richie and Eddie"

Me and Richie both turn red.

Richie- "I think you should all be aware me and Eds have not had sex if that's what you're implying. We've only made out."

Bill- "Yea without clothes"

Me- "No. We kept our pants on"

Then Bev and Ben come back in. Bev's lipstick is all messy.

They go and sit down on the loveseat and we put on a movie and all fall asleep.

Except me. I couldn't sleep. I haven't slept in 3 days.

I got up to go get water and Richie followed me into the kitchen.

"Eddie you need sleep."

"I'm not tired."

"You haven't slept in 3 days. And I would know. I stay awake until you fall asleep. And I stay next to you in case you have nightmares."

"I just can't sleep."

He walks closer to me. And wraps his arms around me.

"Eddie if it's because of your nightmares you could have told me."

"Richie I'm fine. Go to sleep."

He didn't go to sleep. But Eddie fell asleep. And for the first time in weeks, didn't have any nightmares.
