After sleeping off our jet lag we got ready for the heist tonight.

Driver was ecstatic and bouncing every where while I was just exhausted and wanted more sleep. Crow had called earlier but I couldn't talk to her for some reason and Driver was being oddly suspicious.

I brushed it off because it was normal Driver behavior.

After transforming we jumped out of the hotel balcony and started making our way to the tech convention.

It was a private event only the richest and smartest could attend with a special invitation.

Because it was private and had rich people it caught driver's attention.

Driver has a history of stealing from major tech conventions all over the world stealing from new and upgraded computers too rockets.

Yes a rocket don't ask it still creeps me out to this day how he got a rocket back to Korea from Canada.

Since everyone knows Driver is watching waiting to steal from conventions each one has gotten more private with more security to even having S class psykers guarding.

Jeff guarded one once in New York but once again failed as Driver stole another piece of tech.

Hence Driver's known all over the world as the tech stealing villain.

He made it obvious who was stealing because he showed his face every single time.

Many think he's trying to make a super weapon to take over the world.

Surprisingly he's not trying to take over the world even though he could.

He just likes to mess with tech.

He's like a baby and a card board box.

Except it's a top rated villain and expensive tech.

Crow and I don't see the difference.

Everyone else does.

It took us 10 minutes to make it to the building of the convention. It would have been shorter but I don't get to fly like driver so I had to hop roof to roof.

"Fucking Driver letting me run roof to roof " I grumble. A loud boisterous laugh comes from my side from driver.

"Darling it's fine you'll get some exercise in too. Don't you love to work out and train?" He smiles widely waiting for my obvious response.

I look down and run faster passing him up and jumping to the next building leaving his laugh behind me.

After we made it we sat on the roof looking down on the glass windows watching the rich and the smart chatter while drinking and eating waiting for the presenter to come up and present whatever it is driver wants to steal.

At the corner of my eye I see 3 S class and 2 A class psykers guarding the door.

It's less than last time because Lampas thinks we are still in Korea thanks to the holograms Driver made to keep Lampas off our tail.

Driver looked down and sat. He motioned for me to sit because it would be a while until driver made his move.

I move to sit down but just to fuck with him I laid my head down on his laugh still groggy from the airplane.

He freezes for a second and softly chuckles before relaxing and letting me do as I please.

After 30 minutes or so a loud applause came from under the glass roof and we both knew it was our cur.

"Ready Cassian?"

I shrug "sure but what is it that your even stealing you wouldn't let me know?"

He smiles teasingly and pokes my arm. "Wouldn't you like to know. Now let's go."

I nod and we jump through the glass easily.

There is screams and gaps from everyone as they stare at me and Driver's overdramatic entrance.

We both land on the ground and driver grabs the odd device in the presenters hands as I watch for the Pyskers coming at us.

Thankfully it's no one powerful and I'm able to quickly deal with them.

All the civilians are running around but driver using the remote he had just stolen from the presenter who was pushed onto the ground under the stage uses the button to shut off all the entrances.

He laughs boisterously the yells out. "Hey another tech stolen once again! Tell Lampas to try harder because me and my partner Cassian are making our way with another piece of tech. Anyways see ya!" He yells then I jump out of the building through the roof and he floats his self to the roof.

As the alarms start ringing and more Pyskers start running to the scene we start our escape.

As we make our way against the win driver calls out to me. "See this Cassian isn't this fun!?"

I shrug. "I mean I guess it is."

He pouts playfully and in mock offense replies. "Really Cassian how could you make offense of a activity I find fun."

I scoff. "I don't see the joy in stealing something I don't know what it does. "

He grins. "You'll see in due time now hurry u see the helicopters coming for us."

I look up and see helicopters flying around with their lights on.

I jump up on to driver's ride and wrap my hands on to his waist.

"Hold on driver ." I say before shadow teleporting us back to the hotel.

We both fall on to the bed with driver using his small body to cradle the small machine.

It was small no larger than a box and looked exactly like a square with silver metallic panels all over it. There seemed to be no use for it but driver was cradling it carefully so it must be important.

"What is it?" I ask again.

Driver sets it down on the side table and answers with a wide grin. "Something that will change our fafe forever."

I shrug looking at the plain metal box. "I see nothing on it driver. "

"You'll understand one day soon not right now though. Let's get some rest we have our next plane to catch tomorrow then we can't get some rest."

"Ok driver night love you "

"Love you too love." My cheeks turn flush like a teenager with a crush.  'what is wrong with me we are married I shouldn't act like this.!?'

I hear driver chuckle them turn out the lights.

Authors note - yay an update after I've been lazy for so long. I'm not sorry tho.
