MELODY was sleeping peacefully in her bed. I was too paranoid to leave her alone, so I stood there, watching her. I know it sounds weird but I'm just...worried.
The questions she asked on the way home were making me feel weird.
Have you ever thought of wanting to wake up next to someone? Or coming home to someone?
Of course I've thought about things like that. Ever since she got here I can't stop thinking about those things. I imagine waking up next to melody..
I imagine coming home to her..
That's the problem.
I'm catching feelings for my bait. I'm growing attached to her. When she was kidnapped I freaked out, I didn't know what to do so I immediately went home and asked Miguel to help me.
I was literally freaking out.
I was blaming myself the whole time she was gone. I kept thinking to myself "I shouldn't have left her alone" or "I should've just waited for her inside and ignored the call" I've been blaming myself this whole time.
When we went back to the cafe we asked the owner to let us look at the cameras and we seen the two guys taking her. I don't know how I didn't t see them.
I felt so stupid.
And I have no idea why I care about her so fucking much.
"Noah?" I snapped out of my daze-my eyes meeting Melody's. She sat up-"were you watching me sleep?" She asked.
Okay...
That does sound very weird.
"Not in a weird way." I say. She raised a brow-"is there even a way to watch someone sleep without it being weird?" She asked me. I rolled my eyes-"I was just...making sure you were okay." I said.
She smiled slightly. My stomach started feeling weird. It felt like butterflies were flying around and my heart felt like it skipped a fucking beat.
Shit.
"Well, if you're worried, why don't you just sleep in here with me?" She asked. My eyes widened slightly-"my beds big enough for two." She shrugs, laying back down.
