MY face scrunched up when I walked past, what I think is Noah's room.
Moaning and groaning was all I heard. After our conversation-my hour soon ended and Noah came into my room, getting Maxine and leaving.
I was hungry so I decided to go downstairs-of course I got curious to know if they were actually fucking so I walked around the house, finding Noah's room.
I found it.
I regret it.
I walk back to the kitchen-opening the fridge and grabbing a water as I sat down at the island-eating the rest of my food and drinking some of my water.
"Asshole!" I hear Maxine's voice ring out through the house. I furrow my brows as she walked over to the kitchen, her face holding angry and disgust. She looked at me-"I'm warning you now, don't ever fuck him. He finished and then told me to leave. I didn't even finish! What kind of guy does that?" She groans.
I laughed-"I told you he was an asshole." She rolled her eyes playfully. "I gotta go, can we hang tomorrow?" She asked. "No, she can't." That deep voice spoke.
I look behind Maxine-my eyes meeting Noah's.
"Why can't she?" Maxine asked-turning around and crossing her arms. He looked down at her-annoyed. "We are going to my house tomorrow. She can't hang out." He said.
"Why can't she stay here? You're not her boss. She's nineteen, she can do whatever she wants." Maxine said-her attitude lacing her tone.
Noah's eyes met mine-they darkened.
My eyes widened slightly-he better not fucking hurt her. I stood up-placing my hand on Maxine's shoulder and putting a smile on my face.
She looked at me-"it's actually something we've been planning. We were gonna go to his house and build...uh a hot tub. We were suppose to go the other day but plans changed so we are leaving..tomorrow." I lied.
She looked at me-confused. "A hot tub? Can't he just buy one?" She asked. "What's the fun in that?" I laughed.
God I hate myself.
She shook her head-a small laugh escaped her lips. "Alright. Well, I gotta go." I smiled as she wrapped her arms around me. I looked up at Noah-his arms were crossed as his eyes met mine.
I glared at him-he gave me a slight smirk.
Me and Maxine's pulled away-saying our good byes. I stood in front of Noah as I watched her leave the house.
