MASSACRE

It was obvious that Adrianna would have felt the heavy stare on her ever since she walked ever since she had stepped foot into the party. Billy couldn't take his eyes of her no matter what— not that he ever really could take his eyes off her but tonight she was on a whole other level.

He was dying, it's been almost six months their relationship ended, and not once had Adrianna paid attention to Billy at all. Even though they were in the same friend group, she never bats her eyes towards him, talks to him or even acknowledges his existence.

He watched her talk to Lilianna, whom had matching costumes with her. Lilianna was a devil, and Adrianna was an angel. Typical. He thought to himself.

Anyone could notice how Billy was watching Adrianna, even his own girlfriend Sidney, she just chose to ignore it. He couldn't have the mind to give a shit anyways. He still loved Adrianna, even though he was the one that cut ties, he could remember the day clear as day...

FLASHBACK START

Adrianna had sat still on her place on the bed, tears not failing to come down. Her head hung low, hands in her lap, fidgeting. She tried to distract herself from anything that wasn't Billy.

"Stop crying." Billy says, finally stopping his pacing upon hearing the silent sobs coming out of Adrianna here and there. Though Adrianna didn't, she couldn't bring herself to stop crying.

"Fucking stop!" He yells suddenly at Adrianna, causing her to flinch, as he brings his hand to brush out his hair from his face. "I don't get it, was it me...did I do something?" She says, looking up at Billy with eyes filled with afflict.

"You have to understand I'm just tired of this," he says pausing for a moment before bringing his hand in between them. "I'm tired of us!" He says struggling to find the right words to not make her hurt more. 

"Please don't leave me I need you," She says wailing softly, struggling to take in steady air. Billy watches with a numb face showing no emotion as she brings her hands to cover her face.

"No you don't, you'll get over this," He says, knowing damn well she'll never move on.

"Maybe let this be a life lesson Adrianna, never get attached to a person who brings you temporary happiness." He says continuing, bringing more and more guilt to himself.

Though he had to remind himself that it was for the sake of his plan, he had to get together with Sidney, then after everything he and Adrianna could be one again, that's what he thought.

"Pretend there was never us, pretend we were never together...it's truly for the better." He says trying to ease the tension between them, though it only made the matters worse.

He watched as she lifted her head up looking at Billy with disdain. "You know what, fuck you," She says as her voice wavers with to much emotion. 

"I trusted you with everything! But this is what I get... get the fuck out of my life!" She yells standing up, finding the courage to finally walk over to her bedroom window, opening it.
