It had been a normal day for Bell Cranel. The Rabbit Foot had done his usual thing but when he closed his eyes for a moment, he opened them up again to find himself in an empty void. The ground on his feet felt solid even though he didn't know what he was standing on.

Bell: Where-

???: At last, you awaken, Bell Cranel.

He turned to the sudden voice and found a robed old man standing a ways away from him.

Bell: W-Who are you?

He went to draw his Hestia Knife, but the figure raised his hand to stop him.

???: Peace, young one. I'm have not brought you here for violence.

Bell: Oh, wait, brought me here? You're the reason I'm here?

Chronos: Indeed. I am Chronos. A deity of time.

Bell: *Bowing* Please forgive me! I didn't realize you were a deity at first!

Chronos: It's alright. Now, onto why I have brought you here. You see, a higher power has seen a world in grave danger. They had me go and find a savior to bring that world to the light. I have chosen you as that savior, Bell.

Bell: Me?

Chronos: Yes.

Bell: Well, what would I do? It's very nice of you to think of me like that, but I don't know if I'm even cut out for that.

Chronos: That is understandable. I am asking quite a bit of you . You see, I will transport you to a world like yours, only several years into the past. You will return to your life with your grandfather back when you were a child.

Bell: I get to see my Grandpa again?!

Chronos: Yes. Your actions will be needed, so I need to transport you back to when you were only 4 or 5. Also, what I am about to say next will shock you, so be ready.

The boy nodded and allowed the god to proceed.

Chronos: Your Grandfather is not who you think he is. He is your Grandfather, yes, but he is much more than that. In actuality, he is the god, Zeus.

Bell: My Grandpa was a god?!

Chronos: Is a god. He never died. Had he, you would have recalled seeing a bright pillar of light extend to the sky the day he died.

Bell: Y-You're right. I don't remember seeing one that day. But, if that's the case, why didn't he tell me? Why did he pretend to die?

Chronos: He likely did not want to do that to you either, but he had little choice. The time of reckoning was coming soon and you needed to be ready.

Bell: What do I have to do with that?

Chronos: You do not have to worry about that for the moment. For now, just know that your Grandfather was Zeus. That will tie into when I send you back. It will probably be easier for you if you tell him when you see him.

Bell: H-He wouldn't think that's weird?

Chronos: If it's you, I doubt it. You're still his Grandson. Of course, that all is only important if you agree to my quest.

Bell: If I do agree, won't I have to leave my friends and Familia here?

He felt sad and hesitant about that as he would leave behind all the people he knew and loved already.

Chronos: Well, yes and no. Technically, I replicated your mind and brought you here. The you in that world is and that world itself is currently frozen in time as we converse. Should you decline, you will return back to your world and I will erase all memory of this conversation as it had never happened. If you agree, I will send this duplicate to that world.
