(Imagine her minus the cat ears)

Hina P.O.V(6 years old)

I cry in pain as Madame Rina grips my hair. "Let me go," I cry, clawing at her wrist. "You brat," she hisses as my nail breaks through her skin, leaving a red mark. She tosses me to the side as though I weigh nothing to her. Actually, that's probably the case. I back myself against the wall as she advances toward me in slow, scary steps. "I'll teach you to disobey me. I ask for one thing and you couldn't get even do that," she hisses, reaching down to grab me again. I wrap my hands over my head and shut my eyes, waiting for the blow. Moments pass by and all I receive is silence. No punches or slaps. Just silence. Hesitantly, I open my easy to find her standing their in a dazed stance. "M-madame Rina?" I sniffle. Tears flood my eyes as my body trembles with fear. "What's wrong?" I whimper. "S-say something. Please," I cry harder.  "Aw Hina, don't cry," she finally speaking. Her voice is soft and she's doing something I've never seen her do before. Smile. She kneels down in front of my and reaching forward. I flinch backwards, shutting my eyes once more. Instead of the normal slap, I get a pat on the head. "Why are you crying little one?" She ask with a slight frown. "What do you mean. Y-you?" She tilts her head to the side in confusion. "I wha?" She ask. "Why are you being so nice?" I ask.

"Why wouldn't I be?" She ask. "Because y-you h-hate me," I sniffle. She's about to say something else when her smile instantly drops. Her eyes go back to their normal angry self. "What did you do?" She screeches, slapping me across the face. "I-I didn't do anything?" I defend, immeadiately realizing my mistake. "You got your quirk, didn't you?" She ask with a disgusted look. "I'm sorry?" I cry. Did I get my quirk. Is that what happened.

"You bitch!" She snaps, gripping onto my hair once more. She drags my across the house-ignoring my struggle- and opens the front door. I don't even have time to prepare myself before she flings me down the stairs and onto the hard concrete. "Don't ever show me your face again," she snarls, slamming the door in my face.

Aizawa P.O.V(2 moths later)

I doing my normal nightly patrols when the sound of a whimper catches my attention. Climbing down into the alleyway," I catch sight of a man kicking something a a corner. "You piece of hair," he snaps, about to land another when my scarf reaches out a him back. Siting in the corner causes immeadiate disgust to flood my senses. It's a child. He was beating a fucking child. The piece of hair. I don't even notice until I hear the man gasping for air, but my scarf tightens around him dangerously, causing his face to go blue. Reluctantly, I loosen its grip just as he falls unconscious.

I place my focus back I the child before kneeling down a few feet away from her. "Hey their kiddo?" I cal warily. Wouldn't want to scare her. I have tendency to do that. I've never been good with kids, making this not my best moment. That's more of Hizashi's specialty. He mere sound of my voice, causes her to flinch. "I won't hurt you kiddo," I reassure her in what I perceive is a comforting voice. "Go away Mr. Homeless man," she whimpers. Well that hurt.

"I'm a hero. See?" I say, pulling my hero listened from my pocket and sliding it across the ground. Hesitantly, she reaches down and looks over it. "Are you here to save me?" She ask barely above a whisper. "That's what hero's do, right?" I chuckle, moving closer to her slowly. Instead of a verbal response, I receive a timid nod. "How about it see you to a friend of mine. She'll heal you right up," I offer. I know for a fact that both Nezu and Recovery Girl are working late tonight.

"Ok," she nods, tilted her head up from her knees. "Mind if I carry you? We'll move a lot faster?" I ask, hoping I'm not pushing her too far. "Don't drop me," she says, drawing a small smile from me. An actual smile.

As I lift her iin my arms, I notice how light she truly is. Lighter than a child should be. And filthy. I'm about to scale back up the building when I remember the bastard wrapped in my scarf. I'll just have to drop him off at a station on the way.

*20 minutes later*

I step into Recover Girls office to see her and Nezu having a conversation. "Aizawa what are you-Oh my," she says in alert. "I found her on patrol, I say, looking down at the sleeping child in my arms. Sit her down on the bed. She's need a bath. And a healing," she sighs. Nodding, I walk over to the bed agains throw window. Just as I'm laying her down, her eyes open. "Mr. Eraser man?" She yawns, glancing around. Hen she realizes that we're no longer along, I see the fear return to her eyes. "They're here to help you. Don't worry," I say softly. Nodding, she sits up and looks the two over. Her eyes lighting up like the sun when she sees Nezu. "He's so cute," she squeals, hoping down front hes table and running over to him.

She pumping her fist up in the air in an exited manner. "We'll hello to you too. I'm Nezu," he smiles, reaching his hand out. "Hina," she says back. So that's her name. "Why don't you let my friend here heal you up. We'll get you a warm bath and some food," he offers. Nodding her head violently, she boots back on the table. I can't believe that's all it took to cheer her up. She is a kid though. A tiny, talking creature probably just made her night.

*After shower and getting healed*

Hina is now sitting on the bed, stuffing her face with a meat bun I just left to get her. She's wearing one of the boys shirts that was left in the lost in found that reachers her ankles. God, she's adorable. "This is so good Mr. Eraser," she smiles, reaching into the bag and pulling out another. "Glad you like it kiddo," I smile, ruffling her hair.

"So Hina," Nezu approaches, signaling for me to put him on the bed as well. "Yes Mr. Bear?" She ask. What is with this kid and nicknames. "Mind telling us where you're from?" If she even knows. It's quit obvious she's been on the streets for quit some time. "I'm an orphan," she says, her mood dropping a little. The food in her hands not letting it drop too far.

"Madame Rina kicked me out a while ago when I accident, sky used my quirk," her voice muffled with food. "Which is fine cause she was super mean," she shrugs, stuffing more food in her mouth. "What do you mean by 'mean?'" I ask. "She had a bunch of weird rules. When I'd break them she'd hit me." She sniffles, her nose turning red, signaling shes about to cry. I fig back the urge to hit something. Who the hell in their night mind would hit a child. I can tell the others are just as mad by the looks on their faces. "Don't cry kiddo. You're safe now," I comfort, sitting down behind her. "I know," she says, her mood instantly rising. "I have you now Mr. Eraser," she smiles.

Yeah, she sure does...
