"It's been a while since I've watched a play like this. And how have you two been these days?" Mirkan asked as they waited for the Opera to begin.
"We've been well." Eloria replied.
"Thank you, your grace." Aristia said.
"Good. Please enjoy the Opera. The Marquess has to watch this Opera by himself. Though, I'm the one who called you here to this seat." He said and the two girls looked towards their father who sat alone, but then Eloria perked up when she saw Sirius walking in and sitting beside their father and she was happy that Keirean wouldn't spend the night alone.
Sirius looked towards them and with a smile he waved slightly, Eloria smiled and gave him a small wave as well.
"Now that I think about it, your family is quite small. It's only you two and your father, the Marquess." Mirkan said drawing back their attention.
"Yes." They replied.
"Who knew she would pass away at such a young age. Such a pity." He sighed as he referred to their dead mother.
Eloria bit her lip as she refused to be sad or upset, she doesn't remember much about her mother but she remembers how warm and comforting it was when she got really sick.
"It would've been such a blessing if the Marchioness had lived longer. I feel like it was only yesterday that I last saw her. It's such a shame for everyone, really." He said.
"Your Majesty..." Aristia said as she didn't know how to answer.
"I...do not remember much about my mother, so if possible I would like to hear stories of your experiences with her." Eloria said with a small smile as she fidgeted with her fingers.
"Of course my dear." He smiled and she looked hopeful as everyone around her never talk about her and Eloria really wants to know more about her mother.
"By the way ladies. I heard that you entered the Palace looking quite lovely last time." Mirkan mentioned.
"Pardon?" Aristia questioned.
"You two were holding a doll almost as big as you." He said shocking the two. "Rumours have been circulating, starting from the second squadron."
"The second squadron?!"
"Y-Your Majesty, how did you here such?!" Eloria blushed.
"I know everything that happens in this palace." He chuckled and she puffed her cheeks out as she pouted. "What a pity. I would've been delighted to see such a sight. I heard you met the Prince, though."
Aristia flinched while Eloria sent him a suspicious glance.
"Well, Prince? We're they as lovely as they said , in your eyes as well?"
"...Yes. They were, father." Ruveliss said and the sisters were dumbfounded with his reply.
"Is that so?" Mirkan smiled.
"... Did you possibly loose your mind?" Eloria blurted and she gasped as she covered her mouth.
"Eloria my dear...sometimes I wonder why it is you find so displeasing about the Prince."
"Your Majesty...I--"
"I know that getting along doesn't come as easy for some people, but it would really make me happy is in the future I hope that you two will work together harmoniously for the sake of the Empire."
"I... will do my best Your Majesty."
"As will I, Father as Crown Prince I shall do my part so we both work together for the sake of the Empire."
