"THE" day

"THE" next day

Every cloud has a silver lining. Not referring to the situation, but from a million miles above the ground she was flying within the clouds. She named every cloud according to its shape and size. Maybe that's how she showed her childishness. She saw the sun glaring through the cotton sacks and the infinite rays of lemon-yellow beams reflected in her hash-brown eyes. She was using the restroom very often. One moment turbulence hit right after she left the washroom, making her believe the plane would crash. 

Naina was partially a pessimist and the rest of her hoped things were not out of hand. She has had bad experiences in school so she prepared herself for the worst but, who knows her definition of worst was wrong. 

The flight landed. The moment she exited the plane she could feel the warm breeze and the sun falling directly. She felt that the air was relatively fresh than in the metropolitan city she lives in. Or more like, lived in? Her father already booked the cab and the guy was standing just outside waiting for them. She was very excited at that point in time. Three hours of the car ride and her father was becoming tenser as meters passed by. She put her head on his shoulder and slept so that he might feel a little closure and could help him calm down. They reached Vellore. She could not believe it and won't stop smiling at the huge block showing the name of her institute in white. Her father was relieved after feeling the aura of the university his daughter is going to spend her four years in. She found her hostel block in this huge campus, apparently the world's second-largest campus at present. There was a huge rush but hopefully, Ananya was there.

Ananya Pai is from the Biotechnology branch and has been a very good friend to Naina since the course was taken online. Ananya was standing next to her boyfriend outside the main gate of the girls' hostel. It was funny how both of them were looking like tomatoes after standing in sun for such a huge amount of time. Naina went to her and hugged her tight. Ananya said hi to Naina's father as well. She told her father, "Uncle, you won't be allowed to go in further she has to take her stuff on her own.". Naina's father was feeling bad that she has to take all of the suitcases by herself but he let her be. Naina had her room on the first floor only. There Ananya helped her to carry all of her stuff to her room. Naina's father called her to come down to get her mattress. Ananya and Naina both carried the mattress on their head and were running upstairs laughing like it was some sort of a game. Naina was happy. There Ananya called five of her other friends to show Naina's room. Naina met her roommate  Parnika the very first time. Parnika greeted her with a smile and handed her the fourth key to the room. Parnika's first reaction after seeing Naina was, "You're taller than I imagined girl, fucking model you're.". Naina would just blush after hearing it from her. Naina is 5'7 and has dark brown hair reaching mid-length to her back and moderately fair skin. She has dough eyes and plum lips. She loves sweets and novels. 

Shambhavi was all along teasing Naina with "his" name. 

All the girls were laughing. They even planned for a girl's date night.

Meeting those friends was so fine for her but, she was waiting for someone else. She was waiting for that ONE person for the past five months. He was eager to see her too. Let's see who he would be in the next episode.
