"Well, well, if it isn't the late, great, and formerly employed, Nate." Nate's boss says obviously sarcastically.
A 22 year old Nathan stood in front of his boss after being late to his bartending job once again.
"Well, at least you got the great part right." Nate says smugly as he takes off his black leather jacket. He heads up the stairs carrying a tray of an assortment of drinks. He sets them down and greets his co-worker. Nate got to work he greeted a young blonde woman who sat at the bar as she was on her phone.
She looked up and saw him, she had this sparkle in her eyes that made her mesmerizing. "Hi, um.." The girl says but Nate beat her.
"What can I get ya?" He asks with his famous smirk as the girl just smirked back even if it looked a little mischievous.
"Frozen Ghost Vodka." The girl says with no hesitation at the drink, as she raised her eyebrow, with her famous mischievous smirk.
"Fro--frozen what?" Nate asks the girl as she just shakes her head amused that he doesn't know what it is.
"You don't know what that is?" The girl asks Nate, as he shakes his head.
"No, I know what it is? Haven't made it in a while." Nate says to her trying to amuse her. "So, I may be rusty."
"Well, I got time." The girl says with a smile that Nate couldn't help but smile back to. Man, her smiles were contagious.
Nate then started launching a short speech about the Frozen Ghost Vodka, which made the girl chuckle at him, and his stories. She thought he was hilarious but she isn't looking for a boyfriend anytime soon.
"Haven't seen you around here before?" Nate stated to the girl.
"I usually come to bars with my grandfather, but he wanted to stay home, tonight." The girl says as Nate nods his head as it was clearly a lie as she knew that he brought it.
"Cool, cool. Wait, you look familiar. Aren't you Travis' granddaughter, Halle." Nate says as the girl nods her head at him, confirming what her name is.
"The one and only." She says as Nate started shaking her drink in a shaker.
"Thought, I've seen your pretty face before." Nate says as he pours her drink into a glass, and slid her drink towards her as she took a sip from her drink. "So how is is?"
Halle chuckles at him as she takes another sip from her drink. "It's good." She says as Nate couldn't help but continue looking at her eyes, they were stunning blue. He could definitely see the mischievous-ness in her eyes, as she was obviously maybe a trouble kid. Or maybe a sense of adventure. He could stare at her eyes for the rest of his life, but then he wouldn't have a job, nor money, so he broke her gaze and excused himself as he went back to work.
After a while of making and serving drinks, it was near closing time. Nate and Halle talked a little more about life, and family. When Halle told Nate that she had a boyfriend he frowned at hearing that. She also said that she doesn't need a boyfriend to make her happy, and he respected that. Halle said that she had to take off which Nate suggested that she could stay a night at his apartment, which she said yes.
Before the two went inside Nate pick-pocketed a girl and got a pretty silver bracelet that he could make money out of. Then the two went outside and talked for a little bit before Nate went back inside and began to clean up. Halle sat at the bar and she turned and saw a man in a tux.
