chapter three ♡ cheer up!

The boy took off his apron as he heard sniffling coming from outside of the cooking club.

He went out side to investigate. He noticed you - sitting on a bench - crying.

"Oh goodness!" He says. "What's wrong?" He whispers as he takes a seat near you.

You wanted say something. Anything.

But you couldn't stop crying. "Come here my dear." He said as his concern grew and allowed you to rest your head on his chest. He stroked your head and comforted you for a while.

He wiped your tears away with his thumbs and finally asked again "What's bothering you?"

"..my friend. I think you know her. Saki Mayuzumi - or Saki Miyu."

"Oh..Saki. Poor thing. I really hope she's well and healthy." He sighed.

You nodded in agreement and the boy said "Did you know her?"

"Yeah. She was my friend- well one of my best friends." You said.

"Oh.. I can't imagine what that must be like. I know this may not help.." He looked at you. "..but do you want to be friends?"

"Okay.." You smiled a bit.

"Cheer up my dear."

AFTER SCHOOL
Y/N'S HOUSE

"Thank you for walking me home." You thanked Amao.

"No problem! I couldn't watch you be so hurt and alone like that!" He says.

"Thanks again. I'll see you!"

"I- uh.. Do you want to hang out tomorrow? I know it's Saturday so if you're busy o-"

"Sure - that works for me." You cut him off.

"Great! We'll meet.. In the park by the school?"

You nodded. "See you there." You said as he waved and walked off. You entered your house and closed the door. You threw your bag to the side as you ran up the stairs and before you could jump onto your bed and rest you noticed two people sitting there.

"WHAT THE FU- Who are-"

You turned on the lights to see Osano and Ayato.

"What the- why are you guys here..? "

"We needed to speak to you." Ayato shrugged.

"So you broke in?" You sighed.

"No we asked your parents." Osano said.

"And what did they say-"

"Hello honey- w-wha?! I thought I told you two boys to get out of here!" Your dad came.

"Ugh.. It's fine dad." You stated as your dad glared at them with that stare that meant I'll kill you if you try and date or hurt her. He finally left as you sat on a chair by your desk. "What do you wanna discuss?"

"Well you kind of just left us there! So now you have to hang out with us!" Osano demanded.

"I have to?" You rolled your eyes. "What a treat." You groaned.
