Tonight you were invited to the ballon d'or event with your boyfriend pedri however you're not sure you're going because you two are currently fighting and you don't know what to do so you decided to call Gavi for advice
" Hey I'm glad you picked up" you said nervously
" Is everything okay ?" He asked worriedly
" Y-yeah yeah it's just about tonight you know" you added biting on your lower lip
" I was literally talking to pedri about this like minutes ago " he chukled
" And ?"
" He's going obviously but he didn't mention you y/n" he mumbled
" Your best friend is a bitch" you cussed
"You guys make me feel like I'm the elder one " he laughed
You rolled your eyes
" Anyways good luck for tonight I'm rooting for you " you said sweetly
" Thank you y/n c ya around" and with that he hung up
You sat on the bed anxiously shaking your legs
You were almost upset until it hit you
"Oh my god I'm a genius" you screamed and grabbed your phone to call someone
"Hey Félix" you said playfully
" Hey y/n it's been a while what's up"
" Nothing much I just called to check if you're free tonight" you said in a low tone
" Well you know tonight's the ballon d'or event so "
" Yeah I'm invited too you know is it okay if we like go together?" You asked nervously
" Really! You wanna go with me ? What happened to pedri" he said in a mocking tone
" I'm asking if I can go with you why are we involving him" you said already done with him
" Okay okay I'll pick you up in an hour gorgeous"
You just rolled your eyes and hung up the phone
Just like pedri Félix plays football too you've been friends with him since highschool but you ended up cutting him off because pedri never liked him I mean he has his reasons Félix can be alot to deal with but still
And since Pedri doesn't like him that much you decided to get on his last nerve and show up with Félix
You had one hour to get ready so you didn't wanna waste any time
You purposely picked out a real short tight dress knowing pedri has always hated it

"Perfect" you winked at the mirror
{ An hour later}
You arrived with Félix a while ago however you dodged being seen with him especially on the red carpet
The event went better than you expected
You only glimpsed pedri once and he didn't even notice you so you decided to stick with Felix and his friends
Until you got a text from Gavi

The minute you looked up he was standing in front of you
" What the hell are you doing here ?" He said in a low tone not wanting to draw any attention to the two of you
" Just because I don't kick a ball on the daily doesn't mean I don't deserve to be here" you chukled
" If pedri see-"
" Meh shut up Gavi " you rolled your eyes
" Can you at least stay with me instead y/n come on if he sees you with fel-"
" Hey Félix wanna go out for some fresh air I feel suffocated " you totally ignored Gavi and went with Felix to the balcony
" God " you let out a long heavy sight
" Is everything okay" Felix asked lighting up a cigarette
" Yeah I guess " you gave a half shrug
" Come on do you actually think I'd believe that you suddenly wanna be friends again " he sniffed

" I only came in with you tonight because pedri and I fought " you blurted honestly

" But us standing here like old days made me realize that I miss my friend" you said in a low tone
"Are you drunk or something " he laughed stomping out the cigarette under his foot

" Well in that case I miss my friend too come here " he said pulling you into a friendly hug
" I'm sorry for cutting you off without a reason" you mumbled rubbing his back
" You did have a reason y/n" he replied
" What do you mean " you pulled away confused
" Pedri never liked me because he knew I liked you" he said still holding your waist
" W-what" you laughed nervously

" What a scene" you two were interrupted by PEDRI
Félix immediately let go of you
" That's not how it looks like " you said walking towards pedri
" Yeah we were just talking and-" Felix tried to explain but obviously pedri didn't even bother to listen
" Just shut the fuck up you've literally been roaming around her for ages and now I leave her side for a second and you seize the chance !!' he shouted
" Pedri stop yelling" you said rubbing your forehead
" You stop talking " he said  pushing you harshly
Félix instantly rushed towards you
" Are you okay?" He asked rubbing your back
" I am yeah " you mumbled with a lump in your throat
Pedri stood there glaring at the two of you
" Thank you for tonight Felix but I need to talk to Pedri right now " you said politely
" are you sure you're okay?" He asked again
" She said she's fine just fuck off already" pedri scoffed
Félix was fuming at this point he looked like he would murder pedri right now and then
" Thanks again " you briefly hugged him goodbye and turned towards pedri
" You know I'm not gonna say much I'll only ask you this one question" you said in a serious tone
" What now y/n?" He said rudely
" Why didn't you ask me to come with you tonight and please don't say because we're fighting okay, you could've just texted and put an end to the stupid unnecessary fight " you breath
Pedri remained quite
" I'll answer that for you " you chuckled
" Because this relationship is already over for you "
" That's not true y/n " he protests
" It is " you argued with tears already forming in your eyes

" Stop saying my name over and over again it's triggering " you yelled

Pedri was dangerously close to you
" What closure" he pulled away and looked at you clearly pissed
" Pedri he's my friend and I left without a decent goodbye I had to fix things"
" You know I always pictured you two together " his face twisted
" I don't know you just seem effortlessly good together with me you seem suffocated "
Your jaw dropped because of what he just confessed
" What are you talking about dumbass" you scolded hitting his forehead
" God is that why you're picking fights with me like on the daily!"
He looked away
" We've been together for two years pedri and everyday I wake up and try to process how I ended up with someone like you and you're telling me you don't think you're worthy of me or my love "
" I'm sorry y/n I just can't help it" he said with his head in his hands
" I only got eyes for you Félix is my friend and many others but nobody's you to me except for you " you blurted reaching for his hand
" I should've asked you to come with me tonight I'm such an asshole"
" Come on pedri let's face it it was never about tonight or the party it's just the lack of trust we had" you pulled his body into yours
" I love you " you whispered
" As much as I love you I just wanna go home like right now and rip this dress off you " he said with a straight face
" Then let's go home love " you giggled
