Barcelona was alive with energy as the sun dipped behind the city's skyline, casting an orange glow over the bustling streets. In the heart of this vibrant metropolis, Y/N and Pedri lived side-by-side in a neighborhood where history seemed to whisper through the narrow alleys and colorful facades.

Their rivalry was as old as their streets, Every day, their paths crossed, but instead of polite smiles, they exchanged glares and sharp words. The tension between them had grown so thick that it was almost palpable, especially when their younger siblings, Pablo (Pedri's brother) and Emily (Y/N's sister), became close friends.

But deep inside, beneath their bitter exterior, a flicker of curiosity lingered. Pedri, with his brooding good looks and fiery spirit, intrigued Y/N like an untamed flame. She often found herself lost in thought, wondering what it would be like to know the man hiding behind the steely gaze.

Pedri, too, couldn't deny the fascination he felt for Y/N, despite the walls they had constructed around themselves. He found himself drawn to her passion and intelligence, even if they were always at odds.

Tonight The shared birthday party for Pablo and Emily was in full swing at their family's spacious backyard. The pool was the centerpiece of the celebration, with colorful lights reflecting off the water, and laughter echoing through the warm Barcelona night.

Pedri was at the center of the crowd, effortlessly charming his way through the guests, his attention frequently drawn to a girl who seemed particularly captivated by him. Her name was Clara, and her flirty glances and soft laughter made it clear she was thoroughly enjoying Pedri's attention.

Y/N arrived with a forced cheerfulness, her mood clouded by the ongoing rivalry with Pedri. Despite the festive atmosphere, she couldn't ignore the tension that hung between them. She tried to keep her distance, but the unavoidable proximity of their social circles meant their paths crossed frequently.

As Pedri approached the pool with Clara and his group of friends, Y/N was chatting with her own friends, trying to remain engaged despite her growing annoyance. The noise of the party did little to drown out the simmering irritation she felt.

Pedri and Clara were engaged in a flirtatious conversation by the pool, their laughter and playful banter catching the attention of many. Y/N's irritation grew as she watched from the sidelines. Unable to contain herself any longer, she marched over to confront Pedri.

"Must be nice to get all the attention while everyone else is left in the shadows," Y/N said, her voice sharp with frustration.

Pedri glanced at her, his expression shifting from playful to irritated. "Here we go again. What's your problem now?"

"You," Y/N snapped. "It's always about you. Can't you just take a break from being the center of attention for once?"

Pedri's face hardened. "And you always have to make everything about yourself. It's exhausting."

Y/N's eyes flashed with anger. "Maybe if you weren't such a self-absorbed jerk, people might actually like you for who you are and not just because you're a football player."

Pedri's jaw clenched, his patience wearing thin. "Maybe if you weren't so bitter all the time, people would actually want to be around you."

The argument drew the attention of several partygoers, who began to gather around, watching with a mix of curiosity and discomfort. Clara, standing nearby, watched with growing irritation as the exchange continued.

"You know what, Y/N?" Pedri's frustration boiled over. "Sometimes I wish you'd just disappear. Maybe then everyone could enjoy the party AND THEIR LIVES without your constant negativity."
