Chapter 1: the phone call

Rains pov

I am in New Orleans right now hanging out with my family as we figured out what to do today, my dad is in his art room painting , Elijah is sitting on the couch reading a book, Kol is sitting on the couch with Davina, Rebekah is somewhere with Marcel and my ho of a step mother Hayley is somewhere and the house with my bitchy whore of a half sister hope. I am in my room organizing and packing my closet because I will be traveling places to find my mates , I know I have more then one because of what I am, I actually have 4 and two of them currently live in Mystic falls, Virginia, so that's where I will be going first. As I finish packing my outfits I hear a knock on my door, I go over to my door and peek into the peephole and see dad and Elijah, smiling I open the door.

"Hey what's going on?" I ask them

"Are you almost ready to go on your trip" dad asks looking at me . Yeah dad has really stepped up as a father ever since mom died and went to heaven with my uncle Amenadial, I do talk to her sometimes and I allow dad to talk to her as well

"Yeah I'm almost ready" I say to dad

"We want to meet your other two mates" uncle Elijah says I smirk and nod

"Of course uncle " I say loud enough so uncle Kol and my brother Marcel can hear me too

"I'm gonna miss you kiddo" dad says as he hugs me then kisses my forehead.

One thing about NiKlaus is he's not really an emotional person unless someone harms me or his siblings. I'm not sure hope is his daughter or that Hayley is right for my uncle and just as I suspected hope isn't dads child she's my idiot uncle Finn's child and Hayley is upset that uncle Finn isn't around to see hope grow up I don't care about those three, but what I do care about is my dads and uncles feelings

"Oh before I leave I have a surprise for you two" I say to the two standing in front of me

"Darling what are you up to?" Dad asks

"You'll see in a moment come in" I say letting them into my room I look over and see my uncle Henrik and nod as I close my eyes and contact my uncle Lucifer and the demon Mazikeen

"Rain" uncle Lucifer asks as he's here with my demon best friend maze

"Hey guys , so Mazie this is my father NiKlaus and uncle Elijah, guys this is Mazikeen of lilim , but that's just the beginning of my surprises" I tell them as I see maze going straight to my dad I smirk as I again look over to see Henrik , Tatia,Amara, the two doppelgängers of Elena Gilbert and Silas the doppelgänger of Stefan Salvatore I smile at them all as I close my eyes again and I wish that uncle Henrik was alive again as well as Tatia,Amara and Silas

From my studies, many books and stories I've heard from dad I didn't like that they all dead before they had a chance to do anything with there lives
I also didn't like the fact that the witch Qetsiyah tricked Silas, that sounds to much like one of my friends Jasper Whitlock, what he had to go through with the bitch Maria and now from what I hear from the ancestors Alice too I sigh. So as I opened my eyes I saw all three of them standing before me I smiled

"Henrik" dad asks as tears fall from his eyes and he fell to his knees

"Nik, listen to me because what happened to me was not your fault, you had no knowledge that those wolves were going to attack me, so do not fault yourself I never did" he says as they hug each other I smile as my phone rings

I look over at my nightstand where my phone is, then I cross the room pick it up and answers it

"Rain Mikealson speaking, how may I help you" I ask to the person on the other side in a business like tone
