Howdy's place was sure a hell one place to be at! With all your assortment of goods. You got flowers, apples, a himbo, more apples, candy! That's what y/n thought at least.

As they scrolled intohi shop, smile plastered onto their face, they were ready to see their beloved caterpillar..... "Friend" again.

"Howdy ho! Nice to see ya again, y/n! What can I get for you today, m'...oh yeah forgot you ain't a gal. My bad!"

"Demi girl actually, m'lady is fine, sweetheart!"

"Oh.. Ok then m'lady!"

You both chuckled at the silly nicknames, of course they didnt ACTUALLY have any full force claim to em... Right? Thats what you thought anyways.

As you looked around the shop, something caught your eye. A beautiful set a red, white, and pink roses. They were illuminating the store with how beautiful they are! Of course you had to get them for him!!

Picking up the flowers, you steadily went over to Howdy's counter, placing the roses on it.

"I know, I know, cliche right?"

"No, not at all m'lady! They're the symbol of love, after all."

"Then it a good thing it's for you, then."

You giggled it, chuckling at Howdy's flushed face. Go he was adorable. So.. Handsome. YES HE'S A CATERPILLAR, BUT HE'S STILL A HIMBO. Anywaysss, he was so flustered he couldn't even respond!

And that's what ya like, besides that's what he's been causing you to do for the past few weeks.. Maybe even months. It be cruel to have it one sided now, would it?

We wouldn't want that at all.

"Wait... Are you asking me to be your boyfriend?"

He choked out, it was all he could manag to say, still loving at the roses on the counter. He carefully picked them up, holding them to his chest.

"Of course, you big ol' dork! I've liked you for AGES now. It'd be rude to not say anything."
