"So you're telling me that you're a werewolf and you're holding my hand... and that my sister and her creepy boyfriend are vampires? WAIT AM I VAMPIRE!? SHE BIT ME." Jess started breathing heavily, freaking out as Artie shook his head and laughed, his hand slowly touching Jess' cheek. "No.. you're not."
Jess jerked away from his touch, "Why are you touching me.. I just met you like, last week."
Artie sighed, blushing. "Lets just say that I sort of have to love you.. it's a curse that comes along with werewolves. We turn on full moons... and we get stuck with mates."
She was shocked, "So you're telling me that you're my.."
Artie shook his head, "I am your mate..."
------------------------
Jess didn't know what to do, her journal was in her dresser drawer where she put it after her last entry. After Artie had said she was his mate, she didn't really know what to say. She was, after all, human. She didn't have a "mate." Artie had left when she fell asleep, which was what she really needed. Rose was still knocked out cold, she wasn't going to wake up for maybe an hour, according to Artie.
When Jess finally did nap she had a weird dream, but it didn't feel like a dream.. it felt like a memory. When she saw Artie kiss her in this "dream" she woke up. Rose also shot straight up, the both of them gasping as they looked at one another.
"J-jess.. what is wrong with your eyes!?"
Jess was staring into Rose's, "I could ask you the same thing Rose."
The only way to describe it was a light, as if their eyes were illuminating. Finally, Jess noticed Rose's stopped glowing. "Jess, your eyes just glowed." "So did yours Rose... so did yours." They looked at one another, and that was when Rose bust out into tears. She came and hugged Jess, crying into her shoulder.
"Jess, I'm so sorry for attacking you. Pat told me I had to feed or else I'd die... He didn't mean to turn me, he forgot I had his blood in my system.. We were arguing and before I knew it he had pushed me down the stairs, and that was where you walked in, he carried me away..."
Jess just hugger her crying sister, she was now a monster but what was Jess supposed to do? She heard a door close downstairs, and before Jess could even get up off the bed their father came through the door.
"Are you children okay?" Rose shook her head no, and then Jess just sighed. "She fell down the stairs and had a scare.. and now she's a lit-" But before she could finish her sentence their father gasped, "Rose.. hunny.. your eyes.." Rose covered her face and sobbed, Jess standing up and moving towards her sister, holding her once more.
"She just.. uh, she got something in them earli-" Once again, he gasped. "Please don't tell me you're what I think you are!?" Rose looked up, "What do you mean.. do you know about everything?" That was when he laughed slightly, the tension in the room growing even more intense.
"Hun, I know all about the supernatural, I'm a doctor.. and well, our family has connections with plenty supernatural beings. We are a family of witches. Some crazy stuff happened today, huh?" He hugged Rose, and sat down between Jess and the poor vampire. "I came home, knowing that you guys experienced the visions. It was a family connection, when we all experience visions that connect with one another." Jess was blushing, did they see the kiss? She didn't remember seeing anything else.
