"What is it ?" I ask Nala. She stumbled, trying to find the right words to say. "I'm leaving in a few days, I l... " She says being cut off by her walkie talkie going off.
"I'll be right back." She goes to the other room to answer the call. I could barely hear her conversation, trying not to be noisy. I sit on one of the crates, waiting for Nala to come back.
It has been a few minutes, since Nala went into the other room to answer the call. I wonder whats taking her so long. I think to myself.
Until she enters the door, walking towards me, looking sad. "Wesley... I... love you." She says quickly. "Look I know its only been two months but... something about you makes me feel all weird inside of me." She says blushing.
I didn't now what to say, I look into her eyes and say. "Um yeah I feel the same way, since the moment I saw you." I say.
In like that the two animals feel in love with each other. An unlikely duo, two survivors in a horrible place.
