Fiero couldn't believe his mate. She was cleaning up his mess when she had the injured hand. He knew it was her job to clean, but couldn't she take a break once? They settled in the car and he watched her struggle with the seatbelt. He reached over, saying nothing, and buckled her in. He needed his mate to be safe as they drove through town. Her good hand stayed in his for the trip into the city. As they drove, he watched her gaze out the window, her eyes glowing in the reflection.

"Have you ever explored Storm City?" he asked after ten minutes of watching her.

"No. I only go out when I am walking Poppet, or go grocery shopping."

"Do you have a day off?"

"Saturdays and Sundays I have off technically, but I don't have the money to just wander around town." He frowned. How worried about money was she?

"Do we pay you enough?"

"Of course you do!" She whipped her head around to stare at him. He wasn't sure he believed her. Pulling his phone out, he sent a message to Hal.

I want our housekeeper's contract. There is something I need to check.

Has she done something wrong?

No.

Then why?

I didn't ask you to question me. Send it to my email. Fiero pocketed his phone, seething that Hal wouldn't listen to him.

"We are here sir," Jon announced, pulling up to a large office building.

"It says your photo shoot is in suite 300," Trysta announced looking at the information Fiero had Max send her.

"Thanks. Come on." Fiero stepped out and resisted the urge to help her out of the car. The paparazzi were already waiting for him. They snapped pictures left and right. Trysta stepped out and smoothed down her dress holding her phone and a notebook portfolio in her hands. She looked like his assistant. He stepped forward with her a pace behind. It bothered him that she wasn't by his side, but they needed to keep the facade of her being his assistant.

"Welcome, Mr. Fiero! I am Leena Hendrix." A woman wearing too much makeup came up to him with a bright smile.

"Thank you for having me. This is my temporary assistant Trysta Thompson. Please let her know if there is anything you need from me." Fiero motioned to Trysta standing behind him.

"Thank you for letting me know. You are with our photographer Alice Allenton. She is the best. Our stylist is Rebecca Roberts. You will start with her. There will be four looks." Fiero heard Trysta scribbling down this information making him inwardly smile. His mate was taking her job as assistant seriously.

"Where do I go to get started?" he asked and Leena smiled, pointing him to a room with his name on it.

"Rebecca will come to you. I hope your dressing room is up to your standards."

"I am sure it will be. Thank you for your help. Trysta." Fiero waved his hand motioning for her to follow him. They walked to his dressing room and he looked around. They set it up to the specifications sent ahead. He had a bowl of peanut butter M&Ms along with bottles of water. He heard her snort behind him, making him turn around. "What?"

"You like M&Ms?"

"Love them, Hal makes me feel bad when I eat them, but they help me."

"Good source of protein I guess," Trysta replied with a shrug of her shoulders. Fiero laughed at her help trying to justify such a bad snack for him.

"Thanks." Just as he was about to go in for a kiss a knock sounded on the door. Trysta opened it to reveal a short woman with brown hair.

"Hello, I am Rebecca. I am here to dress you for your photo shoot today." Rebecca pulled a rack of clothing in with her. There were more than four outfits on the rack. "I brought you options. I know the group shots will need to have a cohesive look to them, but I'll work everyone else off what you pick," Rebecca explained, holding up multiple options for him. Fiero looked at each choice debating on which would look best on the band as a whole.

"Trysta what do you think?" he asked after a few minutes of looking at the clothes.

"Hard to tell, can you try them on?" He smirked at her blush, she was thinking of him shirtless.

"Sure." He stripped to his boxers, and Trysta turned around with a squeak. Fiero chuckled and dressed in the first option. This was a plain white t-shirt with black jeans ripped in places with combat boots. "Okay, the first option." Trysta turned around and her eyes went wide. He smirked and did a turn to give her a good look.

"That is a nice look for individual pictures," Trysta remarked and Rebecca nodded.

"What if we added a vest and hat for the group photos?" Rebecca grabbed a navy blue vest and a fedora-type hat putting it on his head. Trysta hummed and nodded. "Okay." Rebecca snapped a quick picture as a reminder and handed him a second outfit. "Try this one, it is for the magazine." Fiero put on the suit with a buttonless white dress shirt.

"Okay it is clear to look," Fiero remarked, letting the women know they could turn around. He watched Trysta specifically for her reaction. Her pupils dilated and her breath quickened. This was a good look then.

"I think that will work for the magazine. Women will love you." Rebecca smiled and snapped another picture to keep in her portfolio. They went through all the looks each one Fiero waited for Trysta's bodily response. Words were one thing, but people couldn't hide how they felt through their body's reactions. "We have your looks. Makeup will be in to do your look before you get your photos done." Fiero changed back into the first outfit ready for his time in front of the camera.

"What do you think?" he asked, sitting in his chair and drinking a bottle of water.

"That was a lot of work to pick just four outfits." Trysta took a seat next to him, her body tense.

"You are doing an excellent job as my assistant."

"I've barely done anything."

"Most of the time that is what they do. Max sits on his phone and makes sure I get to all my appointments. Today is an easy day since this is it. A lot of times there are multiple interviews in a day. Today it is the photoshoot and interview. The questions have been vetted by Hal already so you get to sit back and watch me at my best." He winked, making her laugh.

"This is amazing. I am learning so much." Fiero couldn't wait another minute, he needed to kiss her. Just as he stood from his chair the door opened.

"Hello I am Tyler, I'll be doing your makeup." A short lanky man walked in with a rolling cart of makeup behind him. Fiero sighed and sat back letting him do his makeup. He only needed a foundation to smooth out his skin. He had a two-day scruff, which always made the ladies go wild for his photos. Tyler took about thirty minutes to complete his look.

"Thank you Tyler, he looks wonderful," Trysta told the young man as he walked out.

"Any time honey." Tyler winked and Fiero's wolf growled in his head. He had to hold back his wolf from taking Tyler out.

"I'll let Alice know you are ready." Trysta walked out and Fiero pouted, he didn't get his kiss.
