Carmilla was in a carriage with Emilia, and it was being taken to the Roswaal Mansion to deal with an attack that was about to happen there. "So Ryuzu Saika is being watched over by Daphne?" Emilia nodded her head, saying that her master was doing something very important, and the witch of Gluttony needed to be there to see it happen. "Good thing that your body adapted to my aspect without any complications. How does it feel?" Emilia looked at her hands, saying that she felt really good. "It's very useful. Not just for love, but for other things as well. Shapeshifting, weaponising love against your enemies, unseen hands, and a lot of other powers too." Emilia smirked, saying that being in possession of both Glaciation and Lust would be very useful for her. "We are here. You know what to do, Emilia." Emilia and Carmilla used their abilities to reveal all of Ainz's allies's feelings for Ryuzu Saika. Half of the soldiers defected and they rushed to the carriage, some of them being floor guardians. Knowing that this battle was lost, Ainz retreated with everyone who did not defect from his ranks. Emilia and Carmilla got out of their carriage, praising their new allies for showing their true feelings for the king of Lagunica. Emilia looked at all of the soldiers to see who joined them, and the most notable faces amongst their ranks was Albedo, Shalltear BloodFallen, Aura, Mare, Erina BloodFallen, Lupusregina, and Princess Renner. "Princess Renner? I thought that you were a part of the League Of Swans, especially since your real name is literally Harmony Swan." Renner looked up at Emilia. "There is a group of my past and future selves? Where do I sign up, Emilia?" Emilia told Renner that she can talk to Higashi about it when they all return to the capital. "Defend the carriages." Renner was confused when Emilia seemed to be saying this to someone that she did not see. All of a sudden, Rem showed up in front of Emilia. "New allies, master?" Emilia nodded her head. "You need to protect the carriages until we reach the edge of the woods leading to the road to the royal capital." Rem bowed her head, and she activated her Oni form before she yelled for everyone to get into the carriages. "OK! THAT'S ALL OF THEM! GO!" Rem growled as she sensed a single enemy approaching her when the carriages left the mansion. She blocked an attack from Gae Bolg using her morning star, and she saw Xania Sombra staring at her while standing on top of a tree. "You took my sister's eye, you piece of shit." Rem smirked at Xania, and she said that she would have taken the other one if she didn't get knocked out. Xania leaped off the tree, summoning Devil Sword Dante as she began to clash with Rem's morning star.

Emilia looked out of the window, seeing Rem's fight with Xania happening in the distance. She was worried, but she knew that Rem would not lose this fight. Not after what Ryuzu Saika did to the doll after she lost a fight against Jackie. Shalltear summoned massive spears of blood all over the forest, ensuring that none of Ryuzu's enemies could get close to the carriages while they were trying to escape. Emilia used her ice magic to create mines outside of the carriage that would shoot out shards of ice at anyone who tried to get too close to the carriage. "Lady Swan. Someone is standing in the way of the exit." Emilia looked towards the exit of the forest, and her eyes widened in terror when she saw who was there. She recognised that demented face from the previous war of Lagunica. "The devil of the Rhine.....The Witch Of War....It's definitely her. Tanya Degurechaff....SPEED UP THE CARRIAGE!" Tanya's eyes widened when this happened, and she was seemingly trampled by the horse drawn carriages that were now rushing towards the capital. Emilia laughed, believing that she managed to save the carriages from Tanya, but her premature celebration was interrupted when she heard Tanya speak.

"I am....The bone of my sword...."
