Prologue

.

That sound. A familiar sound, it still holds the winds and time after so long; yet.. it still fills me with anguish. The songs of the gods, the archons that of which destroyed that nation, holds a bitter feeling in my heart.

My goal is not to be reunited with you dear brother, not yet. Though it does hurt me, my goal is more important then you. The world of Teyvat has many mysteries, those of which have laced themselves out for me. Though one has yet to be turned. One I have yet to figure out.

I step out of the ruin guards hand as it lay it low. The grass folded beneath my feet as I tread leaving a weary trail to the statue of seven.

The divine seven, the strongest out of the remaining gods after the Archon war, the ones who gained the thrones. I take to a stop landing my glare at the statue. This one. The Archon I still cannot get a grasp on.

He had disappeared after the destruction of Khaenri'ah 500 years ago and hasn't been seen by his people in over a thousand years. Leaving wonder and confusion among the people.

If only they found what he had done.

I examined every inch of the statue, it had two large wings that curved around the god, though made of stone I can still see clearly of what they once were. The statue also held an orb in its hands, one similar to the other statues of the gods. The god wore a hood, that of which had a Cecilia that seemed embraided under the hood made of stone. There was two braids that was neatly carved Infront of the ears and the carved cloth entangled around the figure of the body, making the presence of even the statue seem celestial. My brow furrowed as I stepped past the statue making my way to the large tree that wavered behind it, the large entangling branches slowly sway with the gentle breeze. The feeling of peace and freedom heaved itself through the atmosphere, though no mater of the freedom this place had.. The feeling of being caged never wavered.

I turn my attention towards the city of Mondstadt, seeing the walls slowly lighten as the sun arose from it's hiding place. A larger figure behind the walls also started to lighten, showing the carved wings of a celestial being, the same of which was carved at the significantly smaller statue. The large windmills turned as the wind started to pick up, trying to signal the arrival of something anew. The sounds of waking city folk sounded in the distance, signaling the time to leave.

making my way back to the lowered ruin guard I turn to notice something different in the atmosphere. The presence of an awakened deity had made its calling into the world of Teyvat, noticing some uneasiness of the surrounding area of creatures signaled somethings returning.

Though I couldn't pin point it at the time, I knew it will have great significance.

"Your highness" a shrill voice echoed through the silents. I turn in slight annoyance to face the creature that spoke "The plan is going smoothly, it will soon be time to execute it" I hummed at the news the abyss mage gave.

I'm one step closer now to my goal.

Barbatos.
