Today was bot the day I wanted...not alone anyway. I don't even know what time it is; I just keep getting flashbacks about when I would have such a great time with my parents on Christmas day. My heart is broken. I'm all alone because Katsuki had to do an emergency job with Endeavour, and I literally have no one. My pillows were wet from all my tears as I couldn't find the energy to get out of bed. I miss my mom and my dad, their cheers, their smiles, the light that glows in their eyes. I miss them. I need them. Its all my fault.
"Ochaco?" I heard a deep faint voice that sounded like dad...couldn't be my father. He passed away five years ago. "Ochaco?!" the voice got louder.
I buried my head under the pillow wanting the voices to stop.
I could hear my door opening but I know it's all in my head, I know I'm just imaging back when I was a kid and my dad would sneak in my room to wake me up and say Santa had come, how they would save up their lasts for the me to be happy on Christmas. "Ochaco?" I start to cry even more when I felt a hand touch on my shoulder.
I feel a body gently climb onto my bed and I finally gain the courage to open my eyes. It wasn't my dad; it was Katsuki looking worried and concerned about me. The ash-blonde hero gave me a smile whilst he wiped my tears from my cheeks. "I thought you were working?" I cried more. Katsuki just lightly sighed feeling bad and scoped me into a cuddle where I soaked his hero costume with my tears.
"it's Christmas Pink cheeks, I got off early" he deeply responded. "And I knew you needed someone today" feeling his hands combe through my brown locks felt so soothing. I've never felt safer and more wanted in my life.
We stayed in the same position for about half an hour before Katsuki's phone started ringing. "You can answer it" I whimpered. The sound of him growling feeling irritated made me giggle slightly. His eyes look down at the phone and scoffs before answering it heading out the room.
"Yeah what?!" he rudely answers making me laugh. "I don't think she's up for that! I can ask but I doubt it!" he spoke...I wonder who he's talking to and about. I know it is about me because I heard my name being mentioned. "Alright! I'll try"
