After the satisfactory love making Phayu cleaned Rain and laid him on the bed. Then he went to take a shower to wipe the sweat off.
While showering he heard a scream from Rain. He rushed out from the shower and saw him crying while clutching his belly.
Phayu: Kitty!!! What happened baby!!
Rain: It hurts Phi hurts so bad *sobs*.
Phayu: Hurts where baby? In stomach?
Rain nodded and Phayu saw the wetness on the bed. Shit Rain's water broke!!!! Phayu thought and started to panic while running around the room while collecting the things he had already prepared to take to hospital whenever the delivery time is.
He called his Mom to take Rain to the car while he ran to take the car out and start the engine. While Pete was holding Rain was whining due to the construction Phayu went forward to start the car but his father stopped him.
Vegas: Let me... You should sit with Rain Venice. He needs you the most right now.
He said while taking the starring in his hand. Phayu nodded and sat beside his mate who was groaning in pain with watery eyes while his mom was trying to soothe him.
He felt so helpless while watching Rain suffer from the pain alone. He hoped he could share the pain too but it's impossible to do so what he could do the best was to sooth him.
Phayu: Rain baby it's gonna be over soon baby *his voice cracked at the end. The pain in his baby's face is unbearable for his heart but he had to go through it.*
Rain: Phi... P'Phayu*whimpers* it hurts so bad Phi. I... I can't bear it anymore.
Pete: Just a little more Rain. We'll be in the hospital soon.
Phayu: Yes baby we're almost there. Endure a little please.
Phayu's eyes watered but his mom put his hand on his son's shoulder with assurance. Phayu took Rain's hand in his and started rubbing while trying to sooth him desperately what's pretty impossible right now because of the constrations pain.
Pete called the main family and Rain's mom and dad to let them know about Rain's condition. While he ended the call they were already in front of the hospital. Rain was immediately rushed straight into the OT room.
Phayu wanted to follow Rain inside but the doctors didn't let him cause they have to prepare everything first. Phayu didn't say much. He just waited patiently when they let him in. His mind was totally diverted to the panied face of his mate that he doesn't even know what's going on beside him.
Soon he felt a tap on his shoulder. When he looked he saw Uncle Top was there in his doctor attire and holding one white dress for him.
Top: Venice wear this and the glaves and mask and follow me.
Phayu didn't waste much time to wear the given and followed his uncle right away into the OT.
When he entered he saw his mate was panting and exhausted from the constrations.
Top: His constraction just subsided but another will come soon.
Phayu: Why... Can't we take the pain with meds?
Top: We can't Venice. It's needed. It's making the way to give birth to the baby without much pain.
He leaded Phayu towards where Rain was lying. Rain whimpered when he saw his mate but then he groaned in pain when another constraction hit him. Phayu looked at Rain and then Top with helpless and pleading eyes.
Phayu: Can't we go through the c-section?
Top: It's not necessary for Rain. He's strong and handling the constrations well so I think he'll be able to give a natural birth. And c-section can harm his body in future so...
Phayu understands. He understands all the things Top was saying. But
Phayu (mumbled): But he's in pain...
Top heard that. He smiled at the worried Alpha. Then he suggested.
Top: Do you want a water birth process?
Phayu: What's that.
Top: It's that Rain will give birth to the baby in the water and don't worry they won't choke we have skilled doctors. The water will be warm and it'll help to ease the pain. But I can't ensure that he won't scream him lung out while pushing.
Phayu gulped and gave a thought about what Top suggested. Then he heard Rain groan in pain again.
Rain: P'Phayu.... It hurts.
Phayu rushed to his side and said: Rain it's okay baby. It'll be over soon. Do you want to give a water birth?
Rain: Huh?
Phayu: It'll ease the pain kitty.
Rain: Then do it. I can't take the pain anymore. I'll die at this rate ughhh.
Phayu(panic): Don't say like that kitty. You'll be just fine.
Rain just groaned in response. Phayu nodded to uncle Top and he instructed the others to prepare for a water birth.
(Outside the OT room)
Vegas and Pete we're waiting outside. Pete was really worried about Rain. He was really in so much pain that was unbearable in this eyes. Of course he's a Mafia's wife but don't think it's absurd. He loves his son-in-law so much. Just like his own baby. Seeing the bubbly boy groaning in pain is too much for him. Though he's excited to meet his grandchild but he's more worried about his little Rain.
Vegas saw the worry in his wife's eyes. He kissed his forehead and said.
Vegas: It's gonna be fine. You see our Rain is strong.
Pete nodded and looked at the OT room. At that time the main family Rain's parents and Sky's parents rushed there.
Fiat came towards Pete and asked.
Fiat: How....how long?
Pete: Easy there. They just went inside. Venice went inside with Rain. Don't worry he's gonna be fine.
Fiat calmed down a little. It's his child's first time being a mother. He's worried how he's gonna handle all the pain. He prayed to the moon goddess so give his child strength.
