After some time Phayu came back with a bowl of strawberries and he sat on the bed.
Rain took the bowl from his hand and started eating. He moved towards the headboard and motioned Phayu to come. Phayu leaned on the headboard while Rain sat inbetween his legs while leaning on his broad chest and eating strawberries. Phayu's hand immediately went to Rain's belly and started caressing it. He can't believe in that little tummy there's a life growing inside. Then he remembered something and asked.
Phayu: What about telling others?
Rain: Umm... Sky already knows as he forced me to go to the doctor. And about family I'll tell when the fetus is seated properly.
Phayu confusedly looked at him and asked what that means so Rain explained .
Rain: I research some information about pregnancy and it says first trimester confirms that you're carrying a life inside you....*he caressed his belly while saying it* This is the time as the baby is developing inside me from embryo to a fetus. It's the time when the baby's brain is forming and its heart starts beating too *Rain smiles* As the baby's major body parts are forming. This time is the cause of all morning sickness or any other hormonal functions. So this is the most fragile time where there is still a chance to ... to *Rain's voices choked but he has to say it so he said in a small voice* lose them.
Phayu was shocked to hear all the information and he understood what was stopping Rain from telling others. But no matter what happens Phayu will always be with Rain and support him so he rubbed his belly and said.
Phayu: It's okay we can wait until our baby make their home stronger.
Rain smiled at him and said.
Rain: We can tell them after the first ultrasound. Which is two months later and till then we have to stay careful with our every step.
Phayu nodded and said he'll get only the princess treatment. That made Rain chuckle and he shook his head. After some time they went to bed and fell asleep while Rain cuddled into Phayu's arms. Phayu looked at the person who is sleeping in his arms and who exactly looks like a kitten if he had ears and he do the flip flip in his sleep (just like my kitten do in her sleep author's kitten is so freaking cute😭). He smiled at his own thoughts and then went to his dreamland after kissing Rain's forehead.
The next morning Rain had to wake up first as he had to rush to the bathroom for the sudden churn in his stomach. He threw up a little bit and the nausea didn't go so his urge to gag and let everything out didn't stop for a while. He whimpered but then felt a cold hand on his back and very soothing coffee phormones all around him. He calmed down from his high and then went to wash his face.
Phayu: Are you okay now?
Rain(nodded): Yes Phi.
Phayu kneelt in front of Rain's belly and said.
Phayu: Hey baby...Don't make Mama puke na...be good.
Rain giggled: You know they can't listen you right?
Phayu: So what they'll sense it. It's a father-baby bond. You won't understand Mama.
Rain laughed at Phayu's statement and Phayu smiled at him while trying to not get panicked with what he had see in his dream.
' It'll be alright. It's just a dream nothing to be worried about it. Everything will be fine. We'll be fine. '
Rain: P'Phayu?
Phayu: Huh? Oh Rain what's it?
Rain: What happened? you were zoning out a second ago.
Phayu: It's nothing Rain. Was thinking about the house instructions.
Rain got excited: How's the work going Phi. Let's visit there and ....oh... I have some more plans about decorating the house. Me and Sky discussed and we liked the designs.
Phayu smiled at his excitement and his fear of the dream washed away from his mind. Rain happily left the bathroom after he was done with morning routine letting Phayu have his space.
He came out of the bathroom and thought to himself.
' Well I diverted his mind from something but I think it's not just the house construction work that's making him go pale. I'll ask him once he comes out'
While thinking all this his eyes land on the mirror in their room. He came and stood in front of the human length mirror and lift up his shirt to see his belly.
He saw a very little bump has formed in his lower belly. He poked it and then caressed his belly.
'Squishy' he thought and giggled to himself. He then took his phone and snapped a photo of his belly and wrote beside it '8weekzpreggy'.
Rain: I'll count every single moment of your growth sweety.
That moment Phayu cane out of the washroom and saw Rain looking at him in the mirror and he smiled then hugged him from the back.
Phayu: You know you smells extra good this days?
Rain: Cause I'm preggo.
He giggled making Phayu chuckle. Rain then turn his head and kissed Phayu's lips.
Phayu: Hungry?
Rain wasn't hungry as for the puking season but suddenly his mind goes to crave pancakes and he nodded.
Rain: I want pancakes with lots of caramel and choco chips and ketchup.
Phayu scolded his head for assuming the future cravings of Rain after hearing the weird combination from his mate: Kay let's go downstairs. I'll tell the cook to make you some.
They went downstairs. Phayu was so careful with Rain's walking and coming down the stairs. Rain whined.
Rain: I can walk!
Phayu: But you trip on air so I wanna make sure you're not tripping.
Well Rain pouted as he knew he was clumsy so he didn't protest anymore and let him lead the way. At the dining table everyone happily greeted them. He saw his parents and uncle-aunt was there too.
Rain: Mama you stayed.
Fiat: Yes... I wanted to make sure my baby is okay.
Rain: I'm okay now mom.
Leo: Then we'll get back after breakfast.
Rain: Ohho I shouldn't have said I'm fine.
Leo(chuckled): We'll visit soon.
Rain: But I miss you.
He pouted and suddenly his emotions went high and he started sniffling. Phayu hurriedly wipe those tears and shushed it. The sudden mood swing made everyone flabbergasted and Sky giggled silently.
Rain glared at him with watery eyes 'that brat'. Misty saw her Ma crying and she wobbled her lips.
Misty: Ma... cy...ba... cy . (Ma don't cry na...baby will cry too)
Everyone awed at her and Rain's sniffling stopped after hearing Misty's cute worry. Well that made him about to wail up again to see the baby worrying about his well-being. But before another wave to take him crying his food came and he forgot about crying and focused on the food. Sky saw that and snorted.
Everyone in the table was a little shocked seeing Rain's sudden mood swings and Pai asked Sky.
Pai: What happened to Nong Rain?
Sky just shrugged and went back to eating and feeding Misty fruits and baby pulp.
