Carlotta's POV
I woke up panting. I had a nightmare and this time it was about my brothers killing me. I know it's just a dream but dreams can come true.

I checked the time 5:30. Great! I got up and took a shower and change into a white baggy pocket filled jeans( I don't know what it's called) and put on a yellow turtle neck top and some black Adidas shoes.

I sat on my balcony window and watch the sun rise. I went downstairs to see.......no one. thar is weird.

"Hello miss Carlotta" a deep voice boomed behind my ears and I flinched. I saw a man in his early twenties and another one in his early thirties.

"My apologies I'm Draco and this is my older brother Romero and we are your new bodyguards. Your family are out of town for a few days I'm sorry they couldn't inform you. We will be with you, we will be outside the school premises and out your room door." Draco said.

Wow..... they didn't have time to tell me that they are leaving on a trip. At least if was better than not being able to stay in the same room as them.

"Okay we can go but just call me Carlotta " I said with no emotion." Okay"Romero said. We rode to school  and on the way I was thinking. Should I expose my brothers secret if I do will they kill me. No I shouldn't expose them I'll just keep my distance.

We got to school and I left for my first class. I saw Alex in it and I felt butterflies in my stomach.

I quickly went my way to him and sat down." Hi Lottie wassup" he said drawing circles on my thigh. " I-im fine" I said stuttering and he chuckled.

" Alex" I said with seriousness " my brothers went on a business trip and I'm alone for I don't know how long" I said.

" That means what " he said. " It means the house is free for searching....oh I just remembered I have bodyguards tell follow me everywhere" I said in annoyance.

" Don't worry everything will be fine" he said resting his head on my shoulder.

After classes it was lunch. Since my brothers weren't in school I went and sat with my friends.

" Holy mother of Jesus, you kissed Alex " Hayley said excitedly." Yeah but can you keep your voice down" I said to Hayley and the rest. While Emma and Dylan just sat there grinning from ear to ear.

" Oh Hayley I have to tell you something...... My brothers are in the mafia but not scream you'll gather attention and please don't tell anyone" I told her in a hushed voice.

" No problem I always want to meet someone in the mafia,why meet someone when she already is your friend" she said hugging me.

" So guuuys I have an announcement to make...... Me and Scott are dating" Emma said showing us a ring on her finger." I'm happy for you Emma" I have her a hug.

Just there we heard a ring signifying lunch is over.

" I got to go bye" we all waved and went our ways.

After school,on my way to meet draco and Marco I was pulled into a class room. It was Alex.

" Lexy you don't have to pull me into a room what if my bodyguards saw you" I said in a whiny tone.

" Baby I love that nickname it makes me want to kiss you so hard" and kiss he did.

He kissed me so hard he slipped his tongue into my mouth. It got to the point I couldn't breathe when he realized that he let me go.

" Oh babe I'm sorry I just couldn't stop myself " he said." It's okay, I have to go before they start looking for me " I pecked him and ran.

" Carlotta where were you we were about to come find you " Romero said." I'm sorry my locker was being stubborn so it took a while " I said and they believed it.

And we left school and rode home.
