Long Feng spent the night cultivating, trying to breakthrough to rank six connate level. While he mad significant progress, he was ultimately unable to achieve the breakthrough.

By morning, he prepared a small bag with a few rations, water and one or two extra clothes. Then he fondly looked around the small room he'd lived in for years and sighed before walking out.

Long Feng left the clan with the old Clan Chief very early that morning.

They were as discreet as possible, and no one was allowed to speak of it. Only a select few elders knew that they had left.

Long Feng and the old Clan Chief didn't use horses. Instead, they went on foot so as not to gather any attention. They also followed crowds of people on the way through the streets of the city.

The only problem was that Long feng was now quite popular in the city. Many people knew what he looked like. For that reason, Long feng had to put on a conical hat which covered his face as they moved.

"Are you sure you want to head to Gan Yu city?" On the way, the old Clan Chief asked Long feng.

Before they had set out, the old Clan Chief informed Long Feng of all the major cities within Jianhai Province. To their surprise, Long Feng chose to head over to the strongest city within the province; Gan yu city.

Gan Yu city was the closest to where the Jianhai clan stayed. The Jianhai clan was the strongest powerhouse within the province. They had an inheritance of nearly five hundred years! There was said to be a spirit realm cultivator guarding the clan and stabilizing their destiny. All these factors enabled the Jianhai clan to become the rulers of the province.

Long Feng nodded.
"I'm sure senior. That is where I want to go." he replied. He heard that the city had several sects and clans within and without it, most of them being powerful forces with Yang realm warriors. Any of those forces was much stronger than the five great clans of the star mountain city combined together.

The old Clan Chief nodded. They walked for a long while through several winding streets and finally left the large gates of the star mountain city, officially exiting the city.

"Now we must hurry up. Come on." The old clan chief grabbed Long Feng's arm and began to run on the ground, taking large strides with each step. At his speed, he could even compare with a speeding horse.

Long Feng was surprised at how much strength his old body possessed. Was this the strength of Yin cultivators?

A few minutes later, the old clan chief suddenly came to a halt and let go of Long Feng's arm with a grave expression.

Long Feng followed his line of sight and found around a dozen men standing several meters away, blocking their paths. At the same time, more people rushed out of the surrounding bushes and blocked their path of retreating, efficiently trapping them.

There were four men in the lead.

The old Clan Chief frowned after recognizing the four.
"This is bad… The four clans have brought their core battle strength out. Even their Clan Chiefs and great elders came… " He muttered. "How the hell did they find out? We were careful enough to ensure that not even the clansmen knew of our departure. We even took an extremely deserted road, yet…" The old clan chief was appalled.

Just the four clan Chiefs and great elders were enough to trouble him. If the others should attack Long Feng while he was held down, things may not be good.

The Gong clan Chief was a middle aged man with a somewhat square face. He was quite young among Yin level cultivators, proof that he was once a genius among his generation. He stared at Long Feng with a sharp gaze then turned to the old Clan Chief with a smile.
"Senior, it is an honor to meet you!" He said, going as far as clasping his fists.
