Amelia's life wasn't perfect. It was far from it. It wasn't easy being related to a murderous psycopath.

Even though she never knew her uncle, Mickey Altieri, she felt like he ruined her life. He wasn't just a Ghostface, he was already a serial killer before he put on the mask. He was a psychopath. However, his brother, was far from it. Two brothers. One with a heart tainted and one with a heart of gold. Everyone could see how different they were from each other. Despite their similar looks, Colin was a whole different kind of person. He was the sweetest man and that's what drew Lily Gray in. They first met in college and were instantly drawn to each other, it was like there was some sort of invisible string pulling them together. It didn't take long for them to finally get together. But as usual, nothing was perfect.

Ghostface appeared again. Lily knew all about him since she was from Woodsboro. But there was something different about this new one. He was deadlier, scarier and, in a moment of distraction, he got her. She was stabbed 5 times and the scars in her stomach were the proof of it. Colin was the one that found her, barely breathing but he managed to save her. However, in a few days, Mickey, his own brother, was revealed to be one of the Ghostfaces. As expected, it ruined him. They may not have been close but Mickey was still his brother, his family. And Colin couldn't help but wonder how that happened. How Mickey turned into a killer and tried to kill the one person he cared about the most.

If it wasn't for Lily, Colin would have left. Maybe even fled the country. He just wanted to get away. But he couldn't bring himself to leave her. So he stayed, fought for them. And in a few years, they got married and Amelia was born. They knew the risk of having a child because they knew Ghostface would always come back. He always did. Still, they decided to go to Woodsboro, Lily's hometown and raise Amelia there. And for a while, everything was okay. Still, Amelia's life wasn't easy. She had a hard time making friends, all because of her last name. But she was still happy. She had her family together and she couldn't ask for anything else.

She shared a special bond with both of her parents, especially with her father. He was the most important person in her life. She looked up to him, he was her role model. And for him, Amelia brought the light back into his life, she gave it meaning. He was finally happy, felt at peace.

But everything changed after Jill Roberts and Charlie Walker went on a killing spree when Amelia was only seven years old. Amelia's father realized he needed to leave. He felt like he was putting his family in danger. And just like that, he left and never came back. Never called, never texted. They didn't even know if he was alive. Since that day, it's like he died in her household. No one dared to say his name around Lily, Amelia's mother. She would never forgive him for leaving.

Safe to say, Amelia's life was destroyed. Since that moment, she stopped being an Altieri. She was just a Gray, like her mother, the most important person in her life. Of course, she still dreamed of meeting her father again but that was all it was - a dream. She knew she'd never see him again.

When she turned ten, she met her group of friends - Maeve Rivera, Tara Carpenter, Wes Hicks, Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin and Amber Freeman, who joined the group a few years later. They were inseparable, always together and most of all, they accepted her, they didn't care that she was related to Mickey Altieri. Her life was now perfect, she was happier than ever, especially since she started dating Wes two months ago.

But all her life crumbled when her best friend Tara was attacked. Ghostface was back. Everyone was a suspect. Now, the real question was: could she escape her family line? And most importantly, would she make it out alive?
